HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

View attachment 30718

I added a little to the start of cochise's template:

To whom it may concern,

As a member of Wests Tigers, and only a fan of Wests Tigers, with no allegience to either foundation club, I’m writing to express my personal concern about the governance of the Wests Tigers. In my view, the influence of the debenture holders and HBG has been damaging to the club’s stability, progress, and long-term direction, harming members, supporters, and the reputation of the game.

I ask that the NRL review the situation and intervene with HBG before further harm is done to the club or the league.

Regards,

Suzie
Sent an email.

I crafted one myself but appreciated the template. It gave me a good start.

Already posted this in another thread but repeating here:

HBG were pretty quick lining up Mestrov, the time line seems a touch suspicious.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Chief Executive Officer Tony Mestrov has today informed the Club of his resignation ahead of his next career announcement.

Board Chairman Scott Penn said Mestrov has agreed to stay in his current role until the end of the year as part of a transition process. By agreement, Mestrov’s last day will be December 19.

HBG are a bit too smart for their own good…

2017-Loose the Big 4 sign quality players like McQueen/Packer/mats/Reynolds/Mbye
2018-The coach that blew the team up jumps ship, great thanks Ivan!
2022-Madge knifed
2023-Sheens knifed
2025-Richo knifed?

A lot of crap in recent years (under HBG). So sorry if I and many others feel like giving the team up. Personally I enjoy watching the game more when it’s not our team as we usually play a pathetic example of football anyhow. As a Brisbane boy I’ve always had a soft spot for the broncos and ofc our once Mr Fixer Madge. Wests Tigers are that crazy ex that you really just need to leave.

“This is all a lie bc I’ll continue to follow the club as I’m probably just as stupid as our owners”.

I agree. The more emails he and the NRL get stating it is Wests Tigers vs HBG, and not WSM and BT, the better. He might see what the actual issue is. But as @Tucker (I think) said, maybe he's just sitting tight until he gets more info.
Hi Suzie-Q....It's me BZN back after another relaxing 2-day suspension.
As one of the very few posters on here from the Wests Magpies side of the JV that haven't been chased away by the Balmain people, did you think I was going to start a riot for posting on here from a Magpies pov?

I'm just asking for a friend...do posters from the Wests Magpies get suspended more often than anyone else?

Anyway, I had better get back on topic.

As you know I have followed the mighty Magpies since 1963 and I'm now nearly 80 yoa.

Without doubt, what's happening currently are the darkest days since I started following footy.
But the next few days are going to be darker still.
Our JV hasn't worked and won't work while the Balmain side of the JV continue with the aggressiveness that's currently being displayed, and led by the chief head kicker and stirrer known on here as Cochise.

Love it that V'Landys has used the word "instability". Probably not enough reason alone to appoint administrators or cancel licences, but then he may only need to demonstrate that the HBG are not acting within the best interests of Wests Tigers, and that much is crystal clear.
Can’t help but wonder how this fiasco will be received by sponsors. We could lose sponsors as well as the best CEO we ever had and possibly players & coaching staff. The stink from this could be a permanent regression for the team. Seriously who would want to sign to play for us now?

Pretty sure, no actually certain you have all that so very wrong. There is no Balmain aggressiveness, it is all Wests Tigers vs people who want to destroy the club.

And this come from a former Western Suburbs Magpies fan pov.

How about you stop with the whole people against you talk, and either support the cause, or go on a self chosen holiday, rather than another forced one.
