HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

lol define 'fully supported' - you won't be able to because it is a completely subjective idea.

Childish is your frequent use of extreme language to describe opinions you disagree with - references to North Korea, 'stench', 'dictatorship', 'blocked'.
And yet I was blocked, and for having what, a difference of opinion? What else do you call that? I'm all ears

*face palm* You can pose as if you are innocent but the timing of your choice to enter this thread suggests otherwise.
The timing of my entering this conversation was seeing the post shared from Kelly Hollis yesterday. When I went to search for "her" group, I found not only was I no longer a group member, but also have been blocked from seeing the group.

So, given this isn't being discussed on other FB groups (and it shouldn't be, it's not a Wests Tigers story), I thought I'd jump onto the forum to read all about it... And here we are.

Like I said, like clockwork. Whether it is here or in a public or private group, the HBG supporters turn up when the established order is threatened.

When I say 'threatened' I don't necessarily mean you personally.

That's why i support a professional recruitment process for the appointment of the Wests Tigers board members.

You know like we had for the directors HBG canned.
Why though?

Wests Ashfield own 90% of the football club. Why should they be forced into such a recruitment process? They literally own the football club.

Yes, would be great if the Leagues Club decided to spend money on professional recruitment companies to bring new board members in. But every one of those executive recruitment processes costs money. And that's money taken out of the football club.

Is that what you are asking for?

Because they aren’t capable of running the football club. It’s as simple as that.

Why does it need to be run "like other clubs"??

Balmain Leagues Club had the same setup as "other clubs". We know what happened there.

Parramatta has that same setup. We know the history of board infighting there.

Look at the Bulldogs and their recent boardroom fighting.

This ain't no vision of Paradise
Its interesting you use the bulldogs as an example..

Over the past 2 years they poured close to 13 million into football... HBG gave under 4 million.

You do understand that if HBG invested that amount of money into the wests tigers, the majority of people (including myself) wouldn't give two craps what was happening at HBG - give us the money and let the footy club do their thing..

Not only do HBG not contribute a sufficient amount, they compund it by making stupid decisions that impact the football club that draw attention to them. I dont see that happening at the bulldogs?

Because they don't have the required skill set to run a modern day professional sporting organisation.

They are dysfunctional in the extreme and are a handbrake to the the success of the club.

Because you’re clearly agenda driven . And it’s not wests tigers —— everything else .
It’s your mates@ wests , wests ——— wests tigers .
It has been the most predictable and frustrating thing to come out of this whole issue .
We all want to give the HBG and the hangers-on , the benefit of the doubt , that it’s not blazer wearing noodle heads clinging to power . They actually do care .
But then everything they do , including you and guys like Paul Stamo , is completely to undermine , and destabilise the club.
Only the biggest flag waving nonce would ever stick up for the continued clown show that is our ownership group…. But Everytime I go on social media . There they are ! Like right here and now ! And I’ve said this before I don’t actually think it’s a “bring back wests magpies” it’s really … how do we manipulate and influence so we continue to get our champagne an cucumber sandwiches in the corporate box .
I mean it even comes down to the grant (or lack thereof) the wests tigers get from HBG. It’s a drop in the ocean compared to the broncos , roosters and storm .
Yet when you bring it up , it’s manipulation and gaslighting that the fans and club should be grateful . Right down to stupid logic like “HBG has never rejected a request for funds from the wests tigers “. As if they have created a culture where the club feels shame and guilt for being “fiscally irresponsible” for simply asking for it .
It’s just toxic and wrong the whole thing . Apparently Wests Campbelltown has even more money , and real remit to fund the football program (juniors right now) .
This is where we should be looking to push long term . It won’t happen though .. too many cucumber sandwiches , and nanna naps during critical boardroom discussions , to deflect to everyone else that ultimately the HBG is a bunch of S.O.C’s , who would better serve the club cheering from Jervis Bay Retirement village , than the continued ruination an what’s going on right now .. the whole thing is depressing .
What impotent , incompetent men will to cling to the smallest bit of power ..

And Gary Barnier does? Opal Care Homes anyone? He's the last person I would be inviting onto a board

My agenda isn't threatened at all.

I'm merely asking for transparency and clarity. What exactly is it you are trying to hide?

(Aside from advertising why Barnier resigned from Opal)

You can research yourself...why ask when you can.provide..the names are in the pdf.

Let us all know

We used a professional recruitment process, we actually used the same company to do it twice due to HBG incompetence.

HBG then chose to throw those appointed our through this process 12 months later.

I'd say it is HBG that wasted that money.

Lastly if HBG invested in the club in the manner other Leagues Clubs do, our football department would have plenty of money.
