You (and your mates) actually throw a question at them that snookers them.
But their modus operandi is to spread dissent ,and they just shoot from the hip stating this n that, demanding proof ,but rarely reply to the most basic of show proof the other way ,
And when they get boxed in they just agree ,to hose things down,seen more of that lately

Or in reverse- it's fair to question every statement by HBG but not fair to question others?

You throw it at me like I'm the one doing this when a large percentage of the people on here happily question the validity of any statement by HBG.

Just making a comparison.

And why do you think the majority are sceptical of HBG? I mean the evidence of failure while they have been in charge of the club is there for all to see. The argument they have been successful, which is clearly the side you sit on even though you will downplay that, is non existent. Thats why you won't openly commit to that, you play it off like your just trying to be open minded and see the other side, all the while not seeing the obvious (well id say you do see the obvious, but........)

You're right- I'll downplay it because that isn't what I've said.

If we are simply only talking about results on the field- there is no argument. But I've not argued that once.

I've also never said HBG don't make mistakes. Because it seems pretty obvious they have.

What is it you want me to commit to?

I don't think they are as bad as people want to make them out to be. I think they are a necessary evil until there is a better option. In fact I think they should be encouraged to continue, instead of removed. But in a format where they are not 90% owners of the club.

I think people are happy to overlook the only quotable remarks around the recent board moves because 'we don't trust them' instead of trying to dig deeper into the why of it.

I think people have convinced themselves of a 'truth' regarding the meeting between PVL & HBG because it fits what they want to believe.

When I've said "We don't know" what I really mean is- we don't know. But, there are a few louder voices who believe they do. Based off assumptions.

It's ok to question the group think. It's actually ok not to question it. I won't belittle you if you do.

This is the thing though, you mention the only quotable remarks are by HBG so we should take them as face value. But you fail to recognise those remarks have since been removed, the moves they made revoked, and not a single word from them. How you see that as defendable is beyond me.

Yea it is fair. This is a Wests Tigers forum and fans are allowed to be as partisan for Wests Tigers as they like. This isn't parliament house or the ABC. We don't need to cover all parties in an equal volume of opinions. You don't go on a Bulldogs forum and ask everyone to love and show equal respect for Parramatta leagues directors. I've seen how magpie fans talk on their forums, this place is a Socratic wonder compared to the nest. Go spend all your super on 9 dragons at Wests Ashfield and invest in our next premiership... if you wanna glaze HBG non stop...
