I think there has to be questions on spend mate. If we were smart, this would have been done pre-jerome.

If the amounts were reasonable. Hats off to Shaun and Benji. We'll only know if we struggle with decent depth over the next 4 years.

Richo when he was here said that Benji was no mug at understanding the salary cap beast.

Wouldn't believe any media related salary speculations, I would be very surprised if they went above Benji’s ceilings.

Yeah this is what slightly concerns me. It's great they're all re-signing, but the fact it happened right after Luai chose to leave makes me think they instantly put his money into the others and went easy in negotiations.

They probably upgraded him this year and next. So just say he gets 700k in 28-29 he might be getting extra money this and next year to account for the multi million.

Who knows. Rather this then paying Reynolds, Packer and Mutulino big dollars.

I’d much rather spend overs on quality first graders than have them leave and be in the market for the dregs again.

You are talking about two different things:

1. Building a team around a core group of elite players
2. Paying overs

The Storm and Panthers have been the benchmark for years and neither pay overs, for anyone.
