Holden Debacle

Have been looking for a drift car as the xr8 is fun but a boat. S15 will be endgame but because it will most likely see some walls have been looking at a manual 350z or the manual v35 skyline which is basically a 350z with brembos and cheaper. Neither really interest me in looks but a good platform to build some skills in.

What about an S13 ?
They can be had relatively cheap .

I do like a 2 tone s13 I would feel pretty bad banging it up.

/ billy carts with a ford or Holden shell over the top ..
Where as they still should be racing cars you and me can buy ...
May as well go to GT3 ?!

The Japanese are buying up all the graded 4 and higher cars and storing them in Japan Until prices really skyrocket in the US ..
They’ll have to wait a bit longer until they get there hands on the 34 .

Yeah 25 years ..
They love them cause they can drive them in the snow (awd) But the folks ive spoken to on the Skyline forum put there’s away for winter as they salt the roads.

Yeah 25 years ..

Yep what a waste just take a look at most of the older WRX's that are still on the road in the US. Rusted out from all the salt.

Holden was dead in Australia when the last V8 rolled off the production line.

Owned a VE ute and it was a troublesome POS.

Time to remove the import tax now so I can get my Toyota cheaper.

Lolllzzz... man. The VE was a flop.
Nice looking car tho.

Yeah stretched timing chain at 70K KMs. They wanted $3200 to fix it. I told them to fist themselves and I whored it off and bought a Toyota. Haven't looked back.

Apparently it's a 2 day job...
A lot of places refuse to do it cos of that.
I got quotes for 4k as well.
Absolute joke.

The blaupunkt sound systems are a fail too.

Yeah it is, the money is all in the labour.

Agree on the sound system, I damaged mine early on. They don't like Rammstein when you take the sound safety leveler off lmao.
