@ said:I really think you're confusing 'rigged' and 'uneven'
The comps been uneven for years… If you're so angry about it stop putting your own $$$ into it... Don't buy memberships, don't go o games, don't buy merch, cancel foxtel and stop punting on it
@ said:I agree with Ricky that the problem is the referee boss changing interpretation of rules whenever they feel like it.
These things should be changed in the off-season unless it is causing some kind of major issue (player welfare)
Now they call the coaches some with 1 session left before a game and want to target a certain thing in a game?
Inconsistency has always been the major issue in the NRL for me, seems be even worse this year.
Will never work.. what other sport does it?
@ said:So the NRL is rigged for Melbourne, Brisbane, Souths, Manly and Roosters.
Melbourne have had success on the back of have 3 of the best players for the passed decade.
Brisbane haven’t won a premiership since 2006 and have made up the numbers in the finals most times since then.
Manly have been a basket case for almost 10 years.
The Roosters have had up and down success but they stack their roster trying to buy premierships and have got one of late.
Souths were a disaster, had a few good years won a premiership, were rubbish again, have come good again.
**If you were the NRL wouldn’t you want the teams you’re rigging it for to win the premiership?**

@ said:I doubt the game is actually rigged however there are some sides that do get favoured. We all know who they are. But Brisbane is in a different league altogether and especially this year. The NRL has to have a team from Qld in the semis otherwise they lose half their viewing audience. I wouldn't be surprised if the good calls keep going Brisbane's way and they end up in the top 4\. Two home semis at Suncorp. Great for tv. And great for Qld.

@ said:The best thing you can do is to follow another sport… plenty of options available. For me, I choose to start following the NFL (not everyone’s cup of tea)... I loosely followed it from 2012-2014, and then started really getting it in 2015\. Now I absolutely love it. I still follow league, but not as closely as once upon a time.
