To put it all into one word Sheens is just been ARGENT to all us fans.

Argent? He's been silver?

Wasn't Argent a English rock band from the 60's?

God gave Rock and Roll to you :righton:

We have the talent, yet we find ourselves grinding out ugly wins against a team coming second last, to which our coach describes as 'showing character'. When do the Storm ever put themselves in a position to have to show character against a team running second last. One thing is for sure imo, this team is capable of a lot better and whatever reason he isn't getting the best out of them

Very nicely put.

Manly lost to parra and the gold coast and made no major changes and then won a few….storm are the only team that you could say play their best week in week out.

When we make the semis this year thats 3 years in a row...yes lets punt the coach

Herein lies a large part of the problem. 'Making the eight'.

Do you suppose Melbourne, Brisbane or the Dragons begin the year by saying, "Let's make the eight" .

It all has to do with the mentality that you have.

If all you want to do is make the eight, then yes Sheens is the answer.

I'm certain for many clubs that's good enough.

Is it good enough for WT?

I say no, and we need a coach who can go beyond that.

I'm sure Sheens goal were more than making Top 8 I'm sure he would want an improvement from last season

And there isn't anything to say its unachieveable yet

All clubs strive to make the 8 and hope to get top 4.

Sheens has already taking us well and beyond the 8

So your point is what.

Not good enough.

we have won a premiership plenty haven't

Top 8 is the goal at the start and then later in the season if they are in a good position they strive for top 4

15 other teams don't win premierships…by your logic their season was a fail.

Look at brian smith for example they rate him as a coach and he hasn't won a premiership and bellamy hasn't either now has he.

Hasler sheens and bennett are the only current head coaches to win a premiership.

It is, isn't it?

That's the goal at the end of the year right?

I'm just saying that my view of a succesful season is

Grand Final appearance.

especially with our lineup.

No its not a failure if you don't get to the grand final…its hard to do...manly and storm have been able to do it.2 TEAMS

Maybe our side is not as good as you think.

We haven't learnt a thing under Sheens in regards to closing out games. I can think of at least 6 or 7 over the last couple seasons that we absolutely threw away, including two finals, which no doubt cost us a premiership. And the scary thing is this yr we are still doing the same thing, throwing the Souths game away and inexplicably conceding 30 points in 13 mins against the laughing stock of the competition. All signs point to us still not having learnt from past mistakes, and who is the one who should take responsibilty for not drilling these lessons into the players? Sheens? if not why is he there?

Just on performance, I remember in 2009 he was told ship up or ship out. Make the top 8 next year or look for a new club. Sheens was able to do this 2 years in a row. Let's judge him at the end of the season and determine if we need to performance management him out then.

Exactly, it's a long season & at least we've started winning. What position on the ladder were we this time last year?

A bit higher, 8th compared to 12 this year but we'd won 4 and a bye and 35 points better in f/a (+21 // -14)

I would like to know why Humble was moved…

because hes not that great ! hes okay but hes not a half back at all , passing game,average..kicking game, below average…more of a fill in utilty...couldnt even make the parre team.... and now hes on the bench where he belongs..and he is a good bench player as he is probably second best option in key positions...Miller IS a half back every day of the week...and humble gets more consecutive shots !! i personally believe miller deserves a decent go and lets see what he can do after 5 or 6 consecutive games..i may be wrong or may be right...i think we have a lot more to gain out of this than otherwise

Y'know, a lot of people saying OMFG SACK SHEENS! Not many people suggesting a coach.

If and I mean its a very big IF, we had to get rid of Sheens, who would you go with?

**CRACK** "Underdog smashes one into left field!!"

I'd go with Todd Payten.
