He was going great under Madge. Looked like a SoO player? What happened? The mistakes are our biggest issue and Stef has been the biggest problem.

It appears our current “old boys” and inward thinking mentality is going to eventually strangle us.An embarrassing cop out from Sheens..how do we attract quality talent with this defeatist attitude..heck,we've got a near SOO forward pack..to get things going..need to build on it
Cant believe any Board wld buy into this ..
In the business world, you'd punt the old fossil and bring in someone more ambitious..like Flanagan
While there may be a lot to get excited about, the club is not bouncing anywhere. It’s more like a slow crawl.Wests Tigers head coach Tim Sheens is confident the team can bounce back up the ladder in the next few years. 🤣
Sheens will coach for the next two years before handing the role to club legend Benji Marshall, and is excited for the future of the club, even after a winless start to the season.
Press PLAY to hear him list the timeline plus the guidance he’s giving to Benji Marshall

100% Browney! It appears our current “old boys” and inward thinking mentality is going to eventually strangle us.
With our set up everything is protected and no logical outside assessment is welcome. That applies right throughout the organisation.
What we really need is a neutral third party assesment of where we really are and proposed changes to make us truly viable.
But will that ever happen….. doubtful.
The failings we have had since sheens stepped in are the worst we have had , Dump Madge and throw Noddy under the bus , Select himself as the new coach , Get rid of Hastings , Keep Brooks , list goes on ,can you imagine If He appoint Flanno , Dumped Brooks and run Hastings / Laurie halves , Let Staines play fullback from the start no moving around , and if Bateman didn’t want to play with Hastings Flanno would have got a Backrower no problem , probably from the sharks , Board needs to step up and simply say , No we are not waiting 2/3 years , you have got 4 weeks. 2/4 min , you could bring in Flanno for this years balance and 2 years on top , a Benji sucks it up or piss off
Those two years will cost the club tens of millions of dollars, not to mention some of our marquee players now will be a spent force by then.We already wasted 10 years, another 2 won't hurt.
There won’t be a big turnaround mate. The poor culture in the club is becoming more entrenched as each day passes. The coach as with the CEO and board think they have plenty of time to implement their plans and achieve their goals . However the real adjudicators on performance are the only ones that really matter THE FANS
We are not going to wait 2 years before we start seeing the big turnaround
Weve been waiting 10 years as it is and almost a year since a single bloody win !
2 more will turn to 10 more unfortunately as the forwards we have now will be gone as soon as they canWe already wasted 10 years, another 2 won't hurt.
I didn’t like/support the Elias privatisation attempt, but I now think that’s our only hope for a true change of direction (Dolphins have done ok compared to our established failed setup)It appears our current “old boys” and inward thinking mentality is going to eventually strangle us.

That's a really good summary of the litany of missteps the club has made since Sheens was handed the reins. Missteps regarding releases, signings and team selections. Missteps regarding coaching structures. Missteps regarding public comments and overall presentation of the Wests Tigers brand. I'll say it again, how the board could could think that an out of touch, old school coach combined with an inexperienced, unstructured rookie could work is totally beyond me. As many have said, the club is rotten from top to bottom and it's impossible to see, at this point, any light at the end of the tunnel. Flanagan (despite his dodgy past) would have been a far better coaching choice but even he would have been hamstrung by the ineptitude of the club's management. 2/4 min , you could bring in Flanno for this years balance and 2 years on top , a Benji sucks it up or piss off
Sheens is gunna milk this cow dry and retire lol’ing at all of us.
Made a tongue in cheek comment aligned with that theory when he appointed himself as coach. Wasn't expecting us to be sitting anywhere near the top - even with the support gang bombarding every concerned post - but wasn't expecting us to be in this position either.Sheens is gunna milk this cow dry and retire lol’ing at all of us.
Yep happy for Benny to not be involved, but an alternative private proposal would be attractiveHe was a great player but never a good man
His involvement with Balmain Leagues Club led to the disaster that ended in and which you are reminded of every time you drive along Victoria Road
Let Benny do Benny, that’s his true passion, but keep him well away from the Wests Tigers
Benji is probably already the coach based on the start,Sheens is just the face .if we named Benji head coach the laughter at the club would be loader that it already is ..As for Flenno he's not interested and at Manly. But if Sheen's didn't return to the club to coach get back behind the scenes and replace yourself with Des (an old magpie) and Benji could learn of him ..get the mad scientist on boardThe failings we have had since sheens stepped in are the worst we have had , Dump Madge and throw Noddy under the bus , Select himself as the new coach , Get rid of Hastings , Keep Brooks , list goes on ,can you imagine If He appoint Flanno , Dumped Brooks and run Hastings / Laurie halves , Let Staines play fullback from the start no moving around , and if Bateman didn’t want to play with Hastings Flanno would have got a Backrower no problem , probably from the sharks , Board needs to step up and simply say , No we are not waiting 2/3 years , you have got 4 weeks. 2/4 min , you could bring in Flanno for this years balance and 2 years on top , a Benji sucks it up or piss off
