If anyone should retire its Richards

Bad call. Richards has done well for us. He's won us games with his conversions.

Plus, for what he's costing us I think he's a bargain. Besides, who else would you have kick for us? Austin and Moses have shown they can't take on that role.

We need to be looking at buying a decent centre first and foremost.

When richards is kicking our tries are worth 6 points, we get the ball back at least once a game from his kickoffs & he is safe under the high ball.

We need his experience in the team. Problem is we haven't got much pace in the backline to compliment him.

He was bought as a bridging plan to help usher in generation next.
He is not on big coin, he is doing an ok job in general play, with the added bonus of his kicking.

You cant have a team full of stars.

What we actually lack is strike centres.

Simona is still a better winger then he is a centre. We have no hard, line running centre with pace and footwork. As such our edge is predictable and defendable

He has been awesome up to the canberra game (which we won on the back of his defence). Since then though it looks like the seasons got up with him and his age isn't doing him any favours. Injuries have obviously also contributed, but at his age you have to wonder if his hammies and groin are going to continually plague him next year. His been a good signing for this season but not to sure if where going to benefit as much next season

Sadly, but yes.
Isnt it been shades of Lote, come good and it was all downhill after that.

Actually Lote is looking all right on the end of pretty slick backline. And that's Pat's problem - no one is creating anything in the backline.

He has been solid for us however he does look like another tiquiri signing atm albeit on less coin. He does need a creative centre inside him, but don't know whether we have one. hopefully he stays fit over the offseason and has a bumper 2015

Generally speaking Richards is worth 6 to 10 points a game , he is on the lower end of player's income , why would some want him retired ? Ludicrous

Don't rate him as player besides his goal
Kicking. Too slow and his defense is no better than koro. We let two many wingers leave for a 32 year old who we all knew was on borrowed time.

Patty hasn't actually missed starting a game all year. He's failed to finish… two? Ease up lunatics, lest we hook every bloke who gets injured.

Milky in case you didn't realise, Richards is carrying some injuries lately and can not be rested as we can't replace him due to our cap restraints. He has been an awesome buy for us Imo. His goal kicking has won us games , his field goals are incredible,he's calm under pressure and is a great influence to our whole team. He has been the light in a dark tunnel this year. Hope he's with us for a while longer.

A bit harsh but I am starting to feel a bit vindicated for criticising his signing. **At the time I said it we would regret it as it would force us to lose a young star like Koro. We have lost Koro and we will regret it.**

The problem with the Richards signing was that it was inconsistent with our youth policy. That policy means we wont be in contention for 2 years so why buy a player who only has two years in him and risk losing a young player.

Lets you and me go to randwick races eh?

When I heard that we signed him last year I thought it was crazy but he has done his job and the people bagging him would have been the same people who loved him after kicking that field goal against Newcastle or that 52mtr penalty goal against Parramatta.
