If we miss the finals, should Tim Sheens walk?

Beau was in the forwards for about 15 minutes to give Heighington a rest, which is fair, because he can play the Heighington role to a tee. He shuffles at the line, gets inexplicable metre gains and is an average to good defender.

Ryan playing lock for 15 minutes isn't bad.

Might work against a team running second last, it almost didnt though
Beau did go pretty well….I think a REAL forward mightve done better though
You know, if I want cheese, I dont get bread, I get cheese

hybrid we all know about morris….how many games did he play at half

he played in the halves for 2.5 years
halfway through 2009 we lost more than we won, then moltzen replaces morris in the halves and we start winning alot of games, and then sheens in all his wisdom puts moltzen to fullback and morris back in the halves and we miss the finals because of it.

Can somebody tell me who should of been halfback instead of John Morris? You cant tell me the club would not have tried to sign someone else.

there were other halfbacks available to sign and we also had moltzen the whole time who went much better than morris in the halves when he got the opportunity

If the ship sinks Sheens should go down with it
He has had more chances after failure (with us) than any other coach from any other club would be given.
I think when we we win it is in spite of his bad player selections ( mainly playing people out of position or rarely dropping anybody for consistently playing poorly) and stale game plans .

Injuries are part & parcel of rugby league, its an occupational hazard, it why clubs have ''squads''…not "teams" and try to recruit for depth & backups.
No one is blaming sheens for the injuries, but they will happen every year, to every team

Are you serious ink? At one stage we had Lote, Lawrence and Ellis all missing. Thats the whole of the left attack. Add to this injuries to Payten, Daniella, Utai, Dwyer and Benji at different stages of the season and we still in the top 8\. Salary cap doesnt allow to have great depth. Would love to see the Dragons, Storm or Manly with similar injuries and see how they perform. We have not had many big scores put against us apart from the Rabbitohs game. We are fighting as best we can.

we have a squad that should make the top 4\. with the injuries we have had top 8 is acceptable. anything less than that is another failed year
