@OzLuke Don't understand why people care so much. People protest about stuff all the time - live animal exports, Adani, Manus Island, horse racing etc. etc.
It's a free country and you have the right to protest whatever you please whenever you please, so long as it's peaceful and non-obstructive.
I personally don't care what the netballers do or don't do.
There are so many things in this world to really get upset about and want to change, but some footballers not singing an anthem is not one of them.
I guess people can protest by not singing the anthem because it's important to them, but others can't protest about them not singing the anthem because it may be important to some....everyone's perspective is different and there is usually some faux moral outrage going on every day in other people's eyes
I would love to see a protest by the non-singing haters, mainly to see how the demographic looks, as I suspect that the vast majority would look very similar, or older than me.
don't get me wrong everyone has the right to say their piece....but don't get shirty when others say their bit that doesn't coincide with your own view.....not aimed at you formerguest.....generally speaking there is a moral thought that says everyone should think a certain way, and the people that think otherwise whatever the discussion have issues and are intolerant/ignorant
Good healthy debate and discussion are everybody's right without being pilloried about it
