Is Justin Pascoe a good CEO, put it all here

Here we go, new thread for the anti- and pro Pascoe campaigning, liberate the Signing Suggestions Thread from another derailment.

Apart from his dodgy metrosexual hairdo/comb over, & poor attempt at Dad joke humour (especially when Ivan The Terrible and he did their double act) I think he has been OK. Oh and The Robbie blunder. There's that minor detail!

I think he's been pretty good to be fair with all the club drama that has been going on.

It's also my gut instinct that management threw him under the bus in regards to the Farah incident....He took it on the chin in the best interests of the club....

I guess the next year will see how he steps up with a bit of stability.....

How can we on this forum really give a true performance assessment of Pascoe (or anyone for that matter) in an admin position within the Wests Tigers admin, without knowing the inner workings of the club, day by day, the requisite KPIs etc, contractual obligations etc etc.

We might have opinions.
Butt that's all they are - opinions.
Nothing of benefit one way or the other, except open a negative box - just think of Doust at Saints .

The onus is on our Wests Tigers board (to whom Pascoe answers) to evaluate his performance.

On the fence, leaning towards pro based on the financial situation, but torn over both ends of his role in tha Farah saga and particularly his first actions.

He needs to just concentrate on the club's financial affairs. He needs to leave the football side of things i.e, new player signings, home ground matters etc to those with more nous in these matters, i.e. Madge and Co,. I feel that he is failing on the latter.

Wise words. Justin Pascoe May appear to be either a great CEO or a poor one. Your rating would be relative to his results and your expectations. However, If Pascoe’s personal performance expectations aren’t matching with those of the people who asked him to do the job then , it would be reasonable to expect a low rating.
I have my own personal views on how an organisational chart for a footy club should look but that is a discussion on its own for many reasons. But I will say that the OC from club to club appears to have a degree of flexibility depending on who fills the positions.
I will also say that a successful organisation has a fairly inflexible OC, which means recruitment does not mean lack of continuity. Continuity is the cornerstone of an organisations culture.
Which reminds me. When are we going to revisit the victory song. ???

Think he is doing a great job. Hung out to dry over Farah imo.

Best CEO we have had at the WT - and good CEO's don't grow on trees.

I’ve got a friend who use to work at Penrith when Justin was the CEO there, and when we brought him over I asked about his thoughts on Pascoe

And let’s just say he didn’t give me the greatest hype up, didn’t rate him at all as a CEO
