Is that it for 2014

Our For and Against will cost us a Semi Final birth i believe , it is so jammed packed around the 8, with For and Against playing a deciding factor

I don't think any team is out of the finals race at this stage and even after two ugly losses in a row, the Tigers are still only out of the 8 on points diff. If the boys can get a lid on their execution, we're a chance.

It's a hard ask from this point to be sure, but not a write off with 8 games to go.

And how many people on here thought we'd beat Manly??

Season is over, we have a tough run home and lots of injuries. But we won't be far out of the 8 come season's end. And i'm happy with that. Finals footy would be an incredible achievement for this young side!

I really want to see the boys play finals footy. It looks like the top 4 will be Sydney clubs, so a week 1 game at ANZ regardless of position. There is no 9th place, just 8 teams on equal 16th. You make it in or you don't.

Injuries, state of O and just plain lack of quality NRL standard players has sunk our season again, We lost our way two months ago and when we start to slip we usually slide at a cracking pace.

Looking at our draw we will win a max of three game, but more likely two and even that is not given. Most of the teams below us on their day can win games with their attack, we just dont have any attack.

Its a shame that after showing such promise things are going to end up like most other years

Why is everyone writing us off so early???

As Ivan clearly said tonight. We are only 2/3 way through the season.

We still have the potential to do well. Stop being so negative and start supporting your side.

This forum goes to shit when we are losing.

And on the flip side is extremely positive when we are winning.

Have some faith.

How can you have faith with what the team have showed in the last 2 months ?
They can't even do the BASIC'S right . We are a basket case at the moment and I don't see it improving soon …
Will I still attend games and support my team this year -YES .
We need more than faith .. We need a miracle I reckon ( and a non - corrupt referee)!!

If I was Potter I would replay the Round 3 Souths game about 10 times until the whole team remembers how they played like a 17 man team with aggression , confidence & purpose .
Sure it's a tough mountain to climb having to win 5 out of the next 8 games , with our crappy F/A , but what's the point of thinking our team can't make the semis.

Just hoping the Injury Gods will be kind for once and Richards , Patterson , Simona come back very soon …..8 game winning streak has a deja vu feel and has a nice ring to it

Lets be real, out of the 8 games left and based on last nights performance, I can't see us winning any of them. Strong opposition, injuries (same tune every year) and crap attitudes.

**As much as I commend Farah for standing up to the refs after the game, being on his phone on national TV in the dressing room says a lot.**

What does it say?
Im interested in your thoughts.

how the hell can u have faith in a side the has no structure, in attack and has no sting in defence. really all we do is hit the ball up one out back into the ruck. brooks has gone into his shell he has become a benji clone runs across the field and turns a runner into the waiting defence. our defence is slow and has no idea how to read the simplest of situations and yet potter continues as coach, please.

It says that he needed to talk to someone. He wasn't tweeting obscene pictures of himself, the man just needed to make a call. Could have been a family member, his physio, Shayne Hayne's mum, a sick child, David Williams' bookie, Grant Meyer or maybe he wanted to call a priest at that moment. Without asking Robbie you'd have know way of knowing who he was calling or why.

hell who cares if he was calling up an old mate to have lunch with the following day? he's one of the most committed tigers and footballers around and performs consistently on the field.

maybe he wanted to take his mind off of footy for a few hours, that's exactly what i did on friday evening.

What has come out in the paper today about Potter not coaching next season , I think that tells the story and the mindset for the rest of the season.

The fact of the matter is, it's not a good look. Browsing your phone (to what it looked like to me) isn't the best of things to be done on prime TV after a disappointing loss/performance. He could have waited till he got on the bus - it's trivial, but as a captain, and role-model, I think there is a time and place. Galloway sat down next to him and started browsing his phone as well - says alot.
I'm one of Robbie's biggest fans, just hate the knockers using these kinds of things to bring him down eg. 'Cam Smith would never use his phone on TV being QLD and Kangaroo captain …blah blah'

…and I'm not being a sour or unsupportive fan, but we have to be real. Look at the run home we have, it's going to be tough to get 1 win against these sides especially with injuries and non-home grounds. I think Potter won't survive and we'll probably be pushed down the ladder bottom 3\. Would love to be proven wrong but we have to get real and not always just be a hopeful and a fairytale side.
