That's $20Mill of talent, then take his 5% that's $1mill, not a bad income for being a lying sleaze bag.

Moses is appealing is he not? So could be over turned. Sorry but until all appeals processes are finished it will be business as normal.

Nothing . I’m pretty sure the Orr brothers do that . And there was a manager suspended in the Storm fiasco who does the same thing . Players are allocated to pre approved accredited agents employed by the agency.
I’m pretty sure it’s a restraint of trade to ban companies .

No - The NRL would be entitled as the Organisation running the Comp to set their own Rules re Suppliers (eg Licensing etc) They'd require only Accredited people to participate as Player Agents. The Question is, "What is the Selection Criteria that Player Agent's have to meet in order to be considered for accreditation?"
"Sleaze Bags need not apply", is a restraint of trade if the said "sleaze bag" meets the Selection Criteria!

Yea but I’m saying the only way to get him out of the game would be to ban any agency that has an association with him, which would be a restraint of trade ... surely. Which goes to the point , that he’s gonna be real hard to weed blokes like him out

I don't think the NRL has dug deep enough on this guy. If i recall he was heavily involved with the Storm cap cheating also? Surely there are other things they could investigate him on besides this one thing.

Not necessarily. Depending on the Criteria it is often the case that a Firm is required to submit a list of qualified employees to support their accreditation. e.g A Training Organisation seeking Registration must submit names and quals of their training staff to meet the necessary criteria for accreditation. In the NRL I would imagine that Red Flags like Moses would be easy to spot and what Agency would want to risk being busted by having that scumbag floating around in the background?

Being mates, you would bet Greenburg covered Moses’ actions up as best he could, and if he stepped away from the investigation I am sure it was only because he knew Moses was going down and he was trying to distance himself from Moses.

Yea I hear what you’re saying , but you’re missing the part where he owns the agency. All he has to do is ensure there’s enough accredited people beneath him. This is how guys like this have been operating for years.
Because it is accreditation based , there would be certain criteria the agency would have to meet to a minimum standard , of which if they do , what grounds does the NRL have to not approve their accreditation , if Isaac isn’t included on the application.

Well, "Good Character" is the usual starting place. He/his business would be deregistered if the appeal process is unsuccessful and so that would result in him being unable to practice.

So what if they deregister him - his company employs others who can do his bidding. The word is there is already a loophole in the contracts that allow them to be just transferred to his company. We will see how tough the NRL is over this.

V'Landys certainly has a lot of negatives about him. First, his connections to the gambling industry. Second, his questionable actions surrounding the broadcasting deal.

But the positives he brings are great. He is what rugby league needs. Someone without the traditional rugby league connections who can push the game forward. The administrators have been far too conservative on a lot of issues, such as player managers, trade windows and expansion. Greenburg always said that "he'd get to it". PVL is making it sound like Brisbane 2 could be a reality in 2 or 3 years.

Dave Smith, Peter Beattie and the guy before Beattie didn't have the right connections. Greenturd was connected to all the worst people in rugby league.

RE: broadcasting deal, he wasn't negotiating from a position of strength. The game has been crippled financially from years of mismanagement. I think he honestly did the best he could with what was at his disposal.

Yes, his gambling connections are not desirable, but when half the clubs have betting agencies splattered all over their jerseys can't really make out he's on his own there as the gambling industry is balls deep in the NRL. In saying that, the racing industry exists for gambling so it's a symbiotic relationship, one that is not as prevalent in the NRL.

He is not on the accredited agents list on the NRL site (current of April 2020.)

He is probably advising players, but not specifically managing them.
