But but we were supposed to chipping in 🤔
The point is, for once we aren't chipping in anything for a player to play elsewhere... Panthers are paying full freight, meaning we have his full amount to use in our cap for 25Is this new news?….he signed with them 2 weeks ago
I'm sure Annusley and the NRL will review Holmes' special pre-Origin wrist-slap now that Papali'i requires an operation and is out for 10 weeks 🙄 Yeah, nah! More likely Holmes will get the Billy Slater Player of the Series Award in Origin while Klemmer gets suspended again for tripping over the dog ending his season due to the loading.Still a joke it’s framed a dangerous tackle yet we lose a player for 8-10 weeks and he gets a $1800 fine. Again imagine if papali did the same tackle to Cleary what would the result be???
Ice would have to tackle someone first for that to occur.Still a joke it’s framed a dangerous tackle yet we lose a player for 8-10 weeks and he gets a $1800 fine. Again imagine if papali did the same tackle to Cleary what would the result be???
We should be entitled to salary cap relief as it was deemed foul play that caused the injury.Ice would have to tackle someone first for that to occur.

Was it though? We should be entitled to salary cap relief as it was deemed foul play that caused the injury.
Penrith will be in his ear as well. Will he take his time with recovery? (I think so)
Except:Was it though?
Holmes escaping suspension would indictae his binning was an over reaction
Was he ever in…..?
He was fined, however, which indicates it was deemed foul play. Was it though?

yeah I suppose its worth a tryHe was fined, however, which indicates it was deemed foul play.
I heard he asked if he could pay a second once in advance in case he wants seconds. Provisioning for future indiscretions - brilliant.Still a joke it’s framed a dangerous tackle yet we lose a player for 8-10 weeks and he gets a $1800 fine. Again imagine if papali did the same tackle to Cleary what would the result be???
I don’t understand how Pascoe and the board thought these back ended contract wouldn’t bite them in the end? We’re still doing it, Galvin‘s contract goes up $100k each year, and there are others, but the worst example was Brooks’ which terminated at Over $1m.On occasions, just nowhere near often enough.
At a supposed $750k for next season and based on his form over the last season and a half, I am happy enough for him to be playing in whatever position and level elsewhere next year.
A suitable replacement is a current tier 1 International. To put it simply, why would we let Papali’i go a year before his contract expires without a suitable replacement lined up ?
How does this improve our team ?
