Tigers should be speaking with iPap and explaining to him that his statements appear non-committal and bringing more media stress on the club through no fault of our own, considering they’ve already agreed on a great contract that has been signed for a long time.
If he wants the opportunity to return to Parra, he will have it in 3yrs but until then we expect him to be a man of his word.
I’ve said it before, but if he continues the NRL should step in. This to me is a form of bringing the game and our club into disrepute by openly making statements that could allude to trying to break a contract. If the NRL want to have this stupid system of signing players 12months out, then they need to back it their system and stop players from trying to wiggle out of their contracts.
A mid season trade window and end of season signing period should be the only periods can move clubs.
