Steve Roach is more chance of playing for the Wests Tigers than Folau.

I find it amusing how much league fans in general bag other sports, especially the likes of gus, fatty, MG and many other TV "experts", I enjoy AFL, Rugby and most sports and wonder why they close their minds to the good things other sports do

I've been to a number of Swans games to support them as I take a family member who follows them but I can't get the same level of enjoyment out of watching AFL as NRL. Similarly I have been to Rugby games but again don't enjoy watching anywhere near as much as NRL. Like you Goose I like watching all sports but find NRL by far the more entertaining and enjoyable to watch as a game.

Ditto - I think it depends on where your heart is. You support the Tigers in league, but do you support any particular team in these other codes in the same way you support the Tigers? I followed Carlton in the AFL for several years because I was married to a Victorian, who supported them. I did get into it and enjoyed watching the games, but it was never quite the same as watching rugby league because my support for the then Magpies, now Wests TIgers, came from a deeper level - if that makes sense?

Yes, makes good sense Flippedy plus as much as I go to as many NRL games as I can live, it is also a good game to watch on TV where as AFL is easier to follow live rather than TV where it loses a bit.
