It's interesting to note that Taylor and Toovey have both notched up the same number of wins as coaches now:

Taylor 61/140 = 43%
Toovey 61/105 = 58%

Fair enough Toovey had a lot more to work with, but those figures do not look at all good for Taylor.

Not only have we been in the contest in both games the last two weeks for the first 30 minutes, we've been on top. Not even the harshest critics can deny that. It's still a two fold problem though. We're flat as a tack in attack. We have nothing. And the second issue is once we fail to cash in on our advantage and the opposition get theirchance, they take it and we turn to water. Even down to two tries in the 5 minutes before halftime. The similarity to last week was uncanny. Imagine if we had the heart the Titans had. Fingers crossed we sign McQueen.

Looks like JT is running on fumes, but I think the club won't make any rash decisions just yet. As I said in another thread, the first casualty has to be Naqaima. He's an embarrassment to the jersey. Worst defensive reader I have ever seen. Uncoachable.

I'm not sure any present day coach can do anything with this lot. Signing another middle of the road coach like Taylor will be a waste of time. Only a Jack Gibson, Roy Masters, Warren Ryan type coach could get these guys to start playing like first graders on a consistent basis. Either that or employ a famous sports psychologist because their heads just aren't in the game at all - any game!

That edge defence is a strategy to rush in. If anyone cant admit that they are kidding themselves. Now their are some poor individual reads as well. However if you don't think it is a coaching issue as well your turning a blind eye.

I can't see JT coming back from this. I feel sorry for him because of it. He tried to stiffen up the defence and the players confronted him about it and he caved in. Our centre come second rower can't catch a ball on the full and then dropped three others.

Thought we looked good with Grant on the field for 30 minutes, he had a real dig. Outside backs can't tackle, simple as that.

Scary, for half the game the Raiders were bog average and they still nearly put 50 on us.

Wait to next week Cronk will make our compressed defence look like u8s stuff. Their outside men will have a field day unless they decide to take the direct route up the middle. Anyway as I said a few days ago Taylor will be gone soon,but nothing will change to we buy about 8 NRL standard players

Look at Leicester city, the players stop playing and dont want the coach there. They change coach and they are now 4/4\. JT is not first grade material. How does kev keep getting selected. How does lovett make our bench. He has lost the playing group and needs to go asap. We cant keep going like this after 2 embarrassing losses. This soap opera will continue and the media will turn this into a circus. Deadlines need to be put on th3 big four, the new coach should be announced and all th3 deadwood (i.e kev,rankin,lovett,brooks,ballin,edwards) told they wont be renewed and lets invest heavily in some big forwards and decent outside backs.

Easy solution re Naiqama. Put Suli into the centres, play Hunt on the wing. It's not a perfect solution, but anything is better than Kev. It's indefencable, he has to go. How many more tries has he got to cost us? Even when they do't score he comes rushing out and nearly costs us. It happens about 5 times a game.

The silver lining is its a good year to realise our squad isn't good enough. We have our whole cap to reshape and restructure our squad. These losses just about guarantee the club will overhaul the playing roster.

Eddie, its 100% a coaching tip. Thats what you do when you have 3 imbeciles out wide that cant tackle for xxxx!

Would you prefer they stood back and waited? I think the coach has done what any other would do to negate a weakness. But the other solution is picking some other deadbeat out of reggies and it will be no better, just different names.

Whilst i think Taylor wont be renewed regardless, im not sure what other options there are.

All except you Russ, have you ever stopped to see a pattern in our games, look harder and you'll have more of an idea why Taylor is useless and some in the team are useless too

Still backing the coach, we have had 4 floggings in our last 7 games, 2 floggings in 2 weeks from teams who belted us in the last few weeks last year. We had 6 months to turn it around and failed 2 weeks in a row, how can you still back him, are you related
