Maybe because at this point in time Cherrington is not ready, but after a full of season they believe he will be, it’s looking to the future, at this point in time Farah is still the best option, next year he isn’t.
ok ill go with that too - but if so why make the noise now.
why not 'keep business as usual" and then next year just do it ?
keep the fans happy over the off season
keep the players happy
keep the sponsors happy
keep the media as far from the club as possible and just work towards that plan ?
Because if Farah isn’t happy with the decision he needed to be given the opportunity to explore other avenues, and the earlier the better, as the club did by talking to Ayoub after Origin, it is Ayoub who should be held accountable for not telling Farah then, and who ever leaked it to the media, because it would likely have been kept in house until the seasons end had it not been leaked
again - agree - with some of this - but again - on one hand we're saying - we are the boss's we can do whatever we like - in terms of playing you in reserves buuuuuuut we still want to give you the opportunity to look elsewhere ?
why ?
if the actual case is that they dont want him at the club - then surely the smarter option here would have been to have just kept everything status qu this year.
drop him next year.
say its performance
hope he quits
save the cash / salary cap
and move forward
everyone wins under than scenario ?
