Politis is astute and Gordon is a stop gap for whom? I've been told many times buying a big name player is not something arranged overnight.

It happened with Moses and the Eels….......

True but the Eels had immediate cap space for obvious reasons. The Roosters would normally move a few players on to make room for a big name.

Robbo hooked Latrell last night..so he's out of Fullback contention for the Chooks..

Make a play for him…

A poster is pretty adamant that a prominent figure at the Roosters has been in contact with a prominent player at the WTs since late last year.

I spoke to Minichiello last week at a work function. Nice guy. Wish more of our players had his determination. Yes he talks to Teddy occasionally, as he does with a number of players at many clubs. Players can become friends and chat to each other outside of footy. They don't put pressure on one another though.

We really need to get the greenlight for our COE. If we could finally have some top quality facilities it would certainly help boost the profile of our club from the current mess at Concord.

SG what is you latest pls on Tedesco and Woods.Do you still think WT are favourites to retain them? Also do you have any info on the offer made to Woods, for how much and how many years.Lastly if worst case scenario teddy jumped ship options for fb next year..?

Thanks BB. However, it wasn't Mini whom this poster was referring too.

Tigers have no immediate replacement in mind for Moses at this stage. As I posted earlier I've been told woods and Tedesco futures will be decided next week. Not sure if the club is imposing a deadline or not. But from what I've heard Cleary is keen to get the roster sorted for 2018 asap. Won't make a decision on Moses replacement until the other 2 futures are sorted.

It's my belief that both will stay after all this though. They don't make that call on Moses without knowing they are in a good position to keep atleast one of the other 2

smoking gun

are tigers still planning to propose the revised offer to Mitchell in case he changes his mind? ie do they still want him?

Tigers have made it clear their won't be until the other 2 have made their minds up. Which they need to do quickly if MM wants to "change his mind"

thanks mate. Just want it to be over already, hoping we have a great game on the w/e the other 2 sign

any other signing news?

Hey SG love your work! Any idea if the Tigers may turn there attention to Jack Bird by any chance?

6\. Jack Bird
7\. Luke Brooks

Sounds promising!

I dont have any inside info but I'm hearing all over the place that JB is going to the knights.

JB all but at the knights though things could change there but bird is asking for more than Moses so that would be a weird series of events to transpire. Tigers hands are pretty much tied until Tedesco makes his decision. Cause if he goes then tigers still have 1.2 mil and that could bring players like Foran and Cronk into the mix (though highly doubtful)

Well I'm hoping we can come in with an offer, I'm guessing he wants to stay in Sydney but also wants to play at 6, something Sharks can't give him and Newcastle can along with the $$

Question:

Would the loss of Tedesco be eased if tigers signed Foran or Cronk? And then signed someone like David mead as a fullback? Do you think tigers would be weaker or stronger?

Foran and Mead Stronger

Probably overall stronger but that will mean little if we can't get good forwards.

Cronk weaker

Foran stronger

But I'd be hoping that if we lost tedesco to Roosters, we take Latrell from there hands and sign Foran

Cronk would only offer 2 years max and loosing tedesco for a player who can only play 2 years max is not worth it, while Foran is only 26 and could bring years of success.

I'd tell Woods to go straight to Belmore and I'd take Graham from them which would save some $ and give us a real leader this club needs

1\. Latrell Mitchell
6\. Luke Brooks
7\. Keiran Foran
8\. James Graham
