Can't get any secondary confirmation but the first source is pretty reliable. I'd feel comfortable saying woods is going to stay.

Ten days ago, you said Teddy will re-sign after getting his new contract offer? What has been the hold up? Curious to know.

Dunno what the hold up is. His offer from tigers is far superior to rivals. Moses leaving may have changed things but I doubt it

When do you think he'll make a decision?

I think he's made it already.

No offence, but you don't seem too reliable. You stuffed up not knowing Cronk didn't have a son ten minutes after you came back. You speculated that Cleary pulled McQueen's offer only for the club to announce him 30 minutes later. I want to believe you, but you aren't filling me with much confidence.

McQueen thing was just my opinion of what would of happened.

As far as contract structures and new offers all that's been correct. Brooks new offer at reduced salary woods reduced offer etc all been correct. Dunno what ur beef is im not the players I don't know what they will do all I'm telling u is what they have been offered and what I've been told in regards to them signing.

Woods signing might rule out getting a top flight 6\. May have to look at Roberts or even the prodigal son returning

What about Maloney ?

Bird wants to play closer in and is commanding big dollars, we could offer a 2 year deal to Maloney, and that might help the Sharks retain Bird. Maloney's on about 450k, and that's half the money Widdop, Bird, Foran and Johnson are commanding. A five-eight with two premierships at two different clubs is as good as you'll get, and could be just the type of halves partner Brooks needs to develop his game. Played under Cleary at the Warriors that made the GF in 2011\. Would also solve our goal-kicking issues. He'll turn 32 next June but he's still at the top of his game and seems a good clubman.

I have said in other threads about Jimmy, he and his wife are very close to me and my wife and there is no way he will ever be coming to the Tigers… secondly, your guestimate of his contract money is way off the mark, while I don't know the exact figure I do know that when he was at the roosters it was $600k and when he went to the Sharks all he shared with us is that it was better. He also got an upgrade after winning the comp last year.
James WILL NOT be coming to the Tigers ever.
Need a new solution

Maloney is a winner..deserves everything he gets..but I want to know are the BBQ's really that good..?

Stick to the steak, salad and coleslaw….the snags are a bit iffy!

Super keen to hear what you have to say today mate. All ears

Some positive news about Woods I hope he resigns too.

So call it. Is teddy staying?

I think most people don't care anymore if he stays or go . It's dragged on for far to long .

Fully. I've been checking this forum waaay more than ever before and all I have felt is frustration.
It's sad because there was so much excitement and anticipation.

I have no beef, just going off the info that's been presented.

My feeling is if woods stays teddy will stay. Woods goes teddy will go
Hopefully another win on Monday and they sign after that

Either way, they've both tarnished their image.

I'm not sure about this comment.

Woods, as Club Captain, has handled the situation poorly particularly in the public rhelm. I'm certain, with maturity, he will reflect back at this period with embarrassment and regret.

Teddy, in my opinion, does not warrant the same criticisms as he is not the Club Captain. He is free to make a decision that's in his best interest and, we should not criticise him for excercising his right to do so.

I get it, as fans we are disappointed at the possibility of them leaving and frustrated by the protracted nature of the negotiations. However, let's trust in Cleary doing what is in the Club's best interest and stop worrying and reduce the negativity surrounding this situation. With Cleary driving the bus, I know we are in safe hands and enroute to a Premiership.

Agitator I agree 100%. Following the discussions on this Forum. especially over the past month or so just leads to frustration and unrequited love from a supporter's point of view. During that time there has been a ridiculous number of possible new signings put forward but on the forum however so far only one of these has come to fruition. Going through the Teddy Woods saga has been worse than being forced to watch a year's episode of "Days of Our Lives".

As Agitator says let's just leave it to Pascoe and Cleary to make the right decisions. As supporter on this forum we have zilch control over these re-signing/new signing situations, Getting agitated and frustrated because we have no control over these situations is really quite unhealthy. There are much more important things in life then spending it worrying about the Teddy/Woods signing sagas.

I wish everybody on this forum a Happy Easter.

Well said Newtown the character assassination on this forum has been very poor.Everyone including myself needs to chill out.Leave it to the people who are paid to make the decisions to get it right.
