It's okay to lose.

Why can't we expect to win,we have Farah,Benji and and a cool head in Anasta to help when things are tough,we are some hope,I think all this spoon talk plus the unfortunate cicumstances of last thursday night have us right in this.

If they put in for 80 minutes it will be an improvement on 2012

One of our better performances a few years back was a loss to Stains at Kogarah

We put in, and had a crack and all the other Pos. footy cliches you can think of….but it impressed me

Some just see the final scoreboard, some see things on a game by game basis...others see things as a season as a whole......we all different

I'm looking for effort and commitment in doing everything possible to win , if all these things are achieved and still not good enough to win , i can except that…

It might be ok to lose - but it is definitely not the preferred option.
Every point we don't get is another rung down the ladder.
I'd much rather it was ok for Newcastle to play well….and let them lose in style.

At the beginning of last year we were considered premiership favourites yet we won very few of our first six matches. Newcastle are not considered one of the top teams. Why should not we do well?

I'm pretty one eyed I when it comes to our boys, however I seriously can't see why would we be considered for the wooden spoon…

I don't mind losing to a better team provided we have our game in order.

It is when we kick out on the full, pass over the sideline and fail at the basics that gets my back up. Newcastle have a strong pack, but we do need to win three or four of our first six to set a platform.

I just want to see a reduction in missed tackles, and no terrible misses which make me want to throw the remote through a window

there is an adage in sport, if you play long enough, at the right level you lose half your games.

The sooner you accept losses in sport the more you can enjoy it.

I hope we win, and think we are a reasonable chance, but if we play well and lose that happens, I can also gurantee that at this times this year we will play rubbish, everyone does at some point.

Ofcourse it's ok too lose… And most aren't expecting miracles on Monday, and probably not for the season either. But it's not the best outlook going into Round 1.
I just question our recruitment policy.. and we do have a lot of promising players coming through the lower grades, but so do most clubs. Hell even the bulldogs are still looking to sign players... I'd be happy with Nathan Gardner, if he wants out of the sharks why wasn't someone looking to sign him last year? Or Mick Gordon when his contract was up? i'd even take ben teo back. but all we do is lose good players and sign nobodies... When was the last time we bought a 'good' player from another club? No Adam Blair does not count !!!

I guess like many others ,Im just sick of seeing us lose games the same way for so many years This year we will lose a lot of games because we are undersized which has been going on for too long When will we learn ??

This is the type of soft approach we dont need,,,,, We need a winning culture and saying its ok to lose is silly.
