Had a mate call me this afternoon, to tell me that it Looks like
WTs were so concerned on pinching Nathan that they didn’t look at the possibility of Penrith getting in First and pinching Ivan first,
He had great pleasure in telling me that we cant even raid another club properly.,
He’s been waiting for a while to get even for me giving him a gobful after SOO

Its not really the case though is it? We couldn't talk to Nathan officially and Ivan ( i believe Moses should stick to seeing out his contract) Cleary still has 2 years to run on his, so why would we believe a club would induce someone else to breach contract 2 years early?
 
Just watched Griffin interview on NRL360….
Gus runs the club.
Gus sticks his nose in coaching....it’s his way or the highway.
Gus stabbed Griffin in the back through 2018...
Griffin tried his best to shield the players from Gus politics
Players were not really acrosss how bad the relationship was.
Gus has an ego that is out of control
Griffin sacked now so if Penriff do win the GF this year Gus not Griffin gets the credit.

All I can say is I hope Ivan And Nathan Cleary saw the interview, cause if they did they should run hard and fast from Penrith....

That and the hypocrisy of everything he has said about no individual being bigger than the team, playing for each other and being committed to the club. Even last week he was saying in a press conference how much he loves the club. All of that is going to come back to haunt him. He's going to look like he is all talk.

Maybe Ivan isn't the person to drive the culture change we need that we thought he was.

I cant help but think this maybe a blessing in disguise (although I'm fuming atm). If Ivan is so obsessed with his son, this will have to cause issues at some stage with the playing group. If Ivan could do this to the tigers, imagine what his future decisions could be and how everything will be based around his sons happiness. Yeah I had a few worries with the thought of Cleary jnr coming here, some awkwards positions could surely arise and it would lead to mayhem on here as well

So according to Gould, Cleary and ONeill would meet regularly. They’d never discuss coaching, they’d just talk about Nathan, girls what cars they like whilst they skimmed stones across a pond.
When all of a sudden Ivan starts jumping up and down proclaiming he want to come back, and come back NOW!
If this is how it went, Ivan made the first move, then so be it. But if it isn’t, and Penrith approached Ivan first about making the move, then Gould is the most deceitful canine ever to drag his glutes across a grasses area. Period.

i would test this in court…. would turn into a ship fight and the accusations would fly leaving us in the clear. Suits us to a tee!

It sounds like everyone is angry at him for caring about his son too much - obviously Nathan is his number one priority over his job I get that and I’m hoping that’s the case for everyone on this forum - the fact people are saying it’s becoming a sickness because they’re obesessed and all they’re going off aren’t Nathan who is like 21 still living at home

Doesn't make sense

Ppl will argue he didn't know know what would happen in the future but obviously loyalty wasn't an option

Marina Go on Fox now saying he hasn’t asked for a release - just told them he had been approached.
Also said it was wrongly reported he said he didn’t know where he would be coaching next year.
