"I've finally found a home here at Wests Tigers" - Kevin Naiqama

Interesting that it has taken so long for him to reach 50 games. In his time at Newcastle and Penrith he struggled to get many games at all. Was this because of form or injuries?

Yet since he joined us, he has played every single game.

2010: Newcastle - 1 game
2011: Newcastle - 0 games
2012: Newcastle - 8 games
2013: Newcastle - 6 games
2014: Penrith - 8 games
2015: Wests - 24 games
2016: Wests - 2 games (out of 2)

heard him interviewed with triple m and he said he had never played center until last year. hard to believe considering how strong he has been there. will only get better.

From what I remember he was stuck behind Uate and McManus at Newcastle. At one stage he pretty much scored every time he got a game, but I think his height worked against him on the wing.

I thought he played centre for penriff reggies on grand final day though.

He did play in the centres for Penrith's NSW Cup (as it was known then) side before being signed by the Tigers.

Kevin and Wests Tigers are great for each other. So pleased that he feels at home. Congrats on the 50 NRL milestone, Kevin. Hoping for many more to come in our colours!

We're the club that made him a regular first grader,. Don't know why he wasn't a regular first grader before we came along though. The few games he played for Penrith and Newcastle he nailed it every time. We needed a couple of outside backs when he signed him and he was always going to slot straight in.

Glad his found a home and many more to come.
The same can be said for Taupau but his head got to big for his shoulders…..he has to look after his Family so he did what he had to do.

Lets see if he wants to stay a WT's players once his contract runs out

That will be the test

Well he only signed initially for 1 year then re-signed for a further 2…does he get a tick...?

Showing great form...keep it up Kevin...
