JARRYD Hayne completed the most industrious game of his NFL career as the San Francisco 49ers fell 32-17 to the Detroit Lions.

Playing his first game since October, Hayne completed more carries (nine) and receptions (five) against the Lions than in his previous six NFL games combined.

His efforts could not inspire San Francisco to victory over Detroit, but they have almost certainly secured him game time in the 49ers’ season finale against the St Louis Rams next week.

I should have known better!!

I rang my sister today to confirm the photo posted on Facebook regarding Hayne. She did not know that it was there, as it was posted by the facebook people. Something to do with special events that they post every couple of years after the event. (why Hayne would be a special event is anybody's guess)

So the photo I saw was taken TWO YEARS AGO for God's sake.

I am sorry that I mislead this forum.
