Not very professional to me ?

I'd have more faith in JAC's professionalism than the numpties in our team. Most of our players barely even turn up on game day.

X2
We need a team of players who show the capacity to consistently uphold professional (NRL) standard/s on the field, can work conducively with teammates, can help lift the performance of the team, have athletic ability and is able to competently fulfill positional and (the) team requirements.
JAC is a good start and ticks all boxes.

Any recruits we target should be players who always play with a certain level of pride and the desire to win.

The problem is that losing is ingrained in our culture. Brooks and Nofo, as an example, have been playing NRL for 7 full seasons each and they have never finished in the top half of the comp. They're used to it.

Well JAC left prior he is not a club man.
He edges to be paid as a full back but is really a winger. If we sign him I can see him clashing with Madge and then that can effect the overall team harmony.
He is a type of person that only cares about himself take the COVID issues earlier in the year
No thanks to coming back let’s good that Madge is smarter not to psg overs on a winger.

We've had the NSW SOO coach on national television advise that not only is JAC a hard trainer, he is great for morale in the dressing room. He sounds exactly the calibre of player we need at WTs. And a player wanting to maximise his income?

Yes but at $800k and an unproven fullback have to question that and we all know Origin the players are paid $30,000 per game you have to perform at that level.
If he was a winger on $400k i would think that would be a warranted signing but even then have ? marks.

That's your opinion. If you keep to that you'd have Jordan Rankin back on the wing. JAC also brings crowds into the game. Blinding pace is exciting We all know $800k is an ambit claim.

Well if i recall at least he was a goal kicker, had one good season with us in 2016, then played mainly in reserve grade next season, go forward not backwards that's why not interested in JAC but agree each entitled to there own opinion.

i would not offer Nofo anymore than 450k what he is on now his attack is great defence is awful. Good luck to him if he can get more elsewhere,
if we had to pay a premium for JAC maybe the other wing is AJ or Hoffman

Nofo can’t stay on his wing in D.

He and Joey Leilua must be the worst defensive wing/centre combination in the NRL.

Not true.

I'm disappointed
We let Esan go and now he is Killing it
Just imagine if he was still here
We would have the 3 worst defenders in the comp
Now we can't even lay claim to that

Missing the 8 is funny. First you hate it, then you get used to it. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on it.

Yeah, isn’t it always the way when the media start saying no chance. Use the desperates to build up the profile only to be piped by someone without enough cap money.

Imagine if we moved on a bunch of our highly paid no hopers and secured JAC, Burton, Staines and a forward or two.

I would like to think we are going all out for Burton and Staines behind the scenes. I’ll take them both before JAC. But yes all three would be delicious.
