I don’t think that the Bulldogs or South’s will be able to sign JAC with who they are signing and also re-signing with upgraded contracts.
JAC might squeeze himself out of the market a most clubs have a full roster or have nearly exhausted their cap.

Apparently on big dollars.
Burton at $800k per season. He had better be unreal. Put it this way that is Mbye/Packer/Reynolds type money. To me that is close to being one of the top players in the comp and he isn't even a regular first grade player. The figures that get reported have to be overinflated.
Isn't DWZ also on above 500k ?
I don't know if we should try and pay JAC $800k per season ?
Dogs already have:
Thompson 850k
DWZ 850k
Jackson 750k
Cotric 650k
Hopoate 650k
Hetherington 500k
And apparently want to throw 500k at Burton, 800k at jac and a million at B.Smith? lol
Guys it was 800k for 2 seasons, not 800k PER season.
Also highly suspect alot of the above is subsidised by the players previous clubs.

Considering he apparently turned down 600k from the Sharks you'd have to think the Dogs offer is in that same ballpark

"As first revealed by The Daily Telegraph online yesterday, Burton has penned a two-year deal from 2022 with an option in his favour for a third season. Penrith were never a chance to match the Bulldogs and the Sharks offers - who also offered Burton a deal of close to $620,000 a season."

The young Bulldogs 5/8 Jake Averillo is a really fine talent. He must be disappointed and maybe looking for an opportunity?

And he is versatile and kicks goals.

A week or so ago he re-signed with the Bulldogs until 2023.
