Any updates on our man Hastings ??
He is not going to WC now so that may help us extend him and might save a little because if he went to WC and killed it others will be offering big dollars.

Massive mistake if not...
I have a feeling his Manager is aware there is interest out there for him and its worth waiting

[TrueTiger]

I hope we sign him ASAP...he is the perfect example of a man that realised his faults and worked hard to become a better person ...A breathe of fresh air to this stench of a club that has wallowed in its own glory for far to long...Hastings is a genuine model for the juniors to look up to...

That's his plan all along. He made it quite clear to the specialists that their estimation of recovery time was not fitting into his world cup plans.
He wants to show case his talents playing in a better team thus increasing his worth.
If he nails it, you watch the offers come thick and fast.

Yeah but he didn’t get selected so we can put that idea to bed

Hastings needs to be re signed , he just brings determination , and with a pack Sheens is putting together it could be a very good season for improvement , if we do get Klemmer and Bateman and you add , Pappi , Appi , Steph , Pole Twal , Blore that’s a go forward pack , last year we were dominated every week , Brooks could even shine , Hastings at Half , Brooks 5/8 , and these boys up front and Appi with some darting runs , it could be very good

Mate if Hastings wants to play 7, we should cut our losses and exchange him for a good player from another club.

Whatever the outcome, it needs to be resolved quickly.
