looking forward to a Brooks and Hastings halves combo and AD fitting in at centre when fit midway through the year

Yeah, I am at the point where I hope we don't see AD at 6 in 2022.

The ball will already be rolling by the time AD gets back on the park , unless things are pear shaped a Center spot is his best beat .

Good thing is AD is a Team player and will fit in where ever he needs to.

Good qualities for a future captain IMO

it means we are going well if that is the case

Exactly, AD is only in the 6 if the season is going poorly.

Wonder if he will stay after his contract ends ....Douehi that is

Make him Captain or do what you have too to keep him.
But yes. Doueini at Center is best. I always think how Manly had Jamie Lyon at Center and he just added so much to their attack there.

The Current 6's are absolute machines. Jarome Luai is one player i would offer 1 mil a season no question. Likewise Munster, Cody Walker,
You look at 6's and their the beasts that make these teams.

Naturally if Brooks leaves or Hastings does a todd carney, Doueini will be in at 6. Doueini is awesome but he is the best at center for defense. If goliart works well or james roberts combines with Nofo then we will be right.

One last thought. I HATE players picking positions they suck at.
Valentine hlomes. Great winger, Hopeless fullback. I would pay him 600k to go at wing, 300k at Fullback.

Heck thats the luke Brooks problem we have in one

where should luke play?

Left Right Out as we say in Cricket

The NRL roast IG running a Q and A.
Should be insightful, depending on questions.

Very interested to see what he has to say.

Can you write a question for me?

“What do you think of the dog Luciano leaving, is he even putting in at training?”

Haha, they usually avoid any hectic questions like that and keep it as civilised as they can.

I asked who he thinks the best guys at training are.

You've just gotta hide it.

Like, if you had to pick a song that best described Luc would it be:

* I'm a teenage dirtbag
* Creep
* I have no pride, work ethic and follow my looser brothers advice by little known indie band called The Ungrateful Turds.

I can understand Luciano leaving. He has a partner/wife and the Cowboys have offered him a big contract with long tenure. He will also be enjoying the North Qld lifestyle so I have no hard feelings towards him. We have Papali'i and made a decision not to match the Cowboys' offer even though we had the money.

That’s it. The moment we signed Papali’i, Luc became expendable.

Few takeouts:

- Big standouts at preseason so far: Oliver Gildart, Ken Maumalo, Peachey
- Biggest pest: Reece Hoffman
- Sheensy very much 'behind the scenes' so far as far as playing group is concerned
- James Tamou and Doueihi the main leaders in the group
- Tom Mikaele is strongest in the gym
- Alex Twal doesn't eat deep fried food

Very good interview and believe this guys is going to change the team in a positive way..
If he can have a great year and all goes well this guy could end up been a captain down the track..

Are you looking forward to partnering with Brooks and what do you want to learn from him?

Hoping that these are recorded.

Have you been hanging out with @GNR4LIFE ? I'm starting to get that pre-season positivity. I think we all know who will be right in this situation and it won't be me.

We'll be a different team in 2022. Hastings MASSIVE upgrade on Walters, the Peach is an upgrade on Mbye, You can count on at least one of Gildart, Junior Tupou or Cotric if we get him being a better centre than BJ, literally anyone (including old mate from Newcastle) will bring more to the side than Packer. Our gains are a lot better than our losses, in both ability and attitude.

Good honest assesment

I enjoyed the interview and believe we are going to be better with him in our team , I also think a top 8 spot is not out of the question and think we can do it , I think Parra will trip up along with Penrith I just got a feeling these 2 teams will suffer a bit , parra cause they seem all over the shop and Panthers coming off a 2 year high may slip , also Melbourne out of the top 4 , think there season may get messy with Cheese and the guys who left , Tigers run 7 th

Refreshing to hear him talk about wanting to be a leader. We have had many who couldn't give a stuff about that sort of thing. He's a solid get.

If he goes good in 22 i reckon he’ll be in the discussion for it in 23, might already be in the discussion for it this season but might be a early

AD is the sort of player that could be a real standout for WT'S he should be given the captaincy either solely or in a joint capacity he can play FB,CENTRE,5/8 and I would say at a pinch could play 13 he and Stefano are the players to build the club around

I'm feeling 2022 is the last year we see Brooks and Jacob Liddle at the Tigers.

And I wouldn't even be mad.
