For some underperformers, like on the wing or centre, we don't have an obvious replacement. But for hooker we do.

I agree I think the replacement for Liddle was always there in Simpkin
we don't have adequate replacements for wing and centre

Can't help but feel sorry for Jacob he tries his guts out. His service has been poor in the last couple of games. Unfortunately for him Simpkins has got big wraps on him and has been hot on his heels. He'll get another crack.

Here is what I think will happen as it can only happen to WT’s, Liddle will get dirty and sign with the Dogs or another club,and Simpkin will get a huge offer from the Rorters or the second Brisbane club and like what happened with Teddy and Paps we’ll be left with zero hookers.

I don't think we can carry an extra Hooker on the bench
It's either Liddle or Simpkin in the team
It's Simpkin's chance
If we loose a winger centre half or fullback, we can't put Liddle in to cover
That's were Mbye comes in
If liddle is also on the bench then we only have two forwards on the bench
That won't work

Many of us want Simpkin to get a shot
This is his 1st shot
Let's see what he can do
We might just be pleasantly surprised
Next week Simpkins may get a shot
The week after maybe Amone
Don't forget Blore will be available soon
Who makes way for him
You can never please everyone
The rest may do Liddle good
If we don't see what Simpkin has got we may loose him to another club
So I am all for giving him a go

Sorry to quote this again but its hilarious. In the other thread you literally just complained that no one gets promoted from reggies and a first grader would have to "sleep with Madges wife" to get dropped from first grade.

Liddle has had his crack. He had the first 5 rounds to make it his and he has failed. The position is now Simpkin's to make his own. If Liddle gets another crack it is not a good result for the Tigers.

Liddle has missed a lot of footy over the years, but now he was starting to string a few games together which would of helped his confidence... imo he should of been persevered with even off the bench.
