Off-season moves
Star Raiders halfback Sam Williams is believed to be in the sights of Penrith, while **Wests Tigers halfback Jacob Miller has been linked to Parramatta**.The off-season movement isn't just restricted to players, with Eels head trainer Craig Catterick set to fill the club's vacant football manager's role and Cronulla's Trent Elkin coming on board as strength and conditioning coach. Andrew Webster, who guided Balmain's SG Ball team to the premiership this year, is also understood to be Parramatta's new under-20s coach, while Manly and Sydney Roosters are on the lookout for Toyota Cup coaches next season.

Apparently Ricky saw U20s origin and liked what he saw and they've had a few meetings.

He'd be mad not to … How much could a young half learn from a bloke like Ricky S.

And he might get to play with Robbie .... OUCH !!!!!

I call bs. He would be a better chance of starting half here. I actually think someone has decided that Miller WILL be starting 7 in 2012 already and whoever it is, isn't Sheens. The Dragons deal falling through, Farah saying he'd be here, Payten wrapping him big time even when he plays average, Humble leaving, Chisholm leaving, Marshall referring to himself as a five-eighth again (what a wanker, seriously). Can't see Sirro wearing 7\. His only competition is Anasta who can play in the backrow anyway. I think Miller will be our halfback next year pending trial performances, finally.

And Ricky S learnt off Tim Sheens.

Just Saying.

To be fair Stuart was a Wallaby before he signed with Canberra…

I can see this happening as i dont think Sandow will last the season at parra under Ricky. Sandow just isnt Rickys style of 7\. And if he can replace him cheap with a youngster who plays just they way he believes his team needs, then he will.

If he leaves, the credibility of our administration has to be questioned. He's been given NO time to show his credentials in FG (only a handful of games when the team itself were a rabble), he's a genuine 7 (we appear to have none others at the club) and he's highly regarded by those who have watched him closely (Being selected as captain of NSW U20's is no mean feet).

Great….The hunt for a long term halfback continues, brace yourself for more of the same crap with either Marshall or Anasta at 7.

That little bit surprises me coz Miller played like a busted that night, was a very disappointing game from him IMO.

No big loss if he goes

Is this another unsigned contract sitting in Humpty's top draw ?
Or was Miller always leaving ?

What about Matty Groat, there was some talk about him also being chased by the Eels ?
If the Farah rumor also has legs … We will have become the feeder team to both Cronulla and Parramatta

Hes a rough diamond, needs polishing, needs developing, but he has all the skills, just needs a patient coach who wont dick him around
I hope to god we keep him

I always said that Miller should have been brought up with Koroibete because of their combo. They have an epic combo going. Miller knows where Koro is at all times and is capable of kicking or passing it right on to his chest from anywhere on the field.

He wasn't in Sheens in crowd, and has never got a real go,he was great today, and he worked well with Koroibete too.
