Yes and that’s why all your suggestions continually see Wests Tigers finish well outside the top 8 and you as a highly knowledgeable fan think we are doing great.
The definition of doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same result.
Maybe that is called a Snidest ?

I didn't watch the Fiji game but seen the replay of Bula's tap kick through the defensive line----regather and score.
Our spine players should be rehearsing this every training session when in the red zone, until they don't have to think about it. Result, a try or line dropout! But it needs to be an angled kick and others ready to swoop. Simples' aye!
Just need good coaching. Ha ha. All the fullbacks in the NRL would become elite if it is possible to coach.
If only they could figure it out for themselves.

I think he’s a more than handy player and for those who keep saying we are a better team when he’s playing, of course we are he’s a highly paid player with 3 years of NRL experience behind him, when Heath Mason plays we are using a 19y.o with very minimal NRL experience and only on a Development Contract in 2025. Facts and figures say it should be chalk and cheese when comparing them both at fullback at this stage of their careers.

Why did Mason name enter into the topic?

Bringing up a 20yr old Mason who can’t even lock down a position in NSW cup & will never become an NRL fullback when talking about Bula is strange.

Many posts have stated we are a much better team when Bula plays.
Obviously when we do not have a notable back up fullback.
The argument is not whether Bula is a very good player or not, nobody including myself is saying he is not a good player.
The argument is whether or not Bula is worth signing for 900k per season which I believe will.be a request for higher than that value to commit to us for 2027 and beyond.
If he regularly showed the form at NRL level that he did in yesterdays game against the Cook Islands a 900k or more contract wouldn’t even be questioned, but unfortunately Wests Tigers do not come up against the Cook Islands very often.

Doesn’t explain why you brought up Mason.

Re 900k, most people agree at this stage he isn’t a 900k nrl level player on the books.

Issue is for some reason you keep bringing up the 900k but the club or Bula haven’t actually indicated that’s the value either, most people here aren’t even entertaining it.

In your posts you also bring up random names like Purdue, Mason etc which isn’t helping people understand what you’re trying to actually debate as they are terrible examples to be using. The Mason comment made zero sense related to the topic. It might of to you but to others it didn’t.

We don't know at this stage do we for who might or might not be interested in joining WT? To my knowledge we haven't asked about options available and enquired. Certainly if Bula situation fails gain positive traction we have to look at options- all i said was from the current squad we only gave Turuva. I'd like to have some more, certainly Mason has not taken opportunities, dunno about other potential ones from within, certainly some available after November 1 for 2027 if we want to ask questions.

With Benji and Richo making all our recruitment and retention decisions we could have triggered Jahream’s 2027 extension for 900k long ago had they felt it was a no brainer to keep him on that contract value.
A lot of our fans particularly on this forum are misunderstanding the complexity of it as there is not any doubt Benji and Richo ideally want to keep Jahream as a Wests Tigers player long term, it’s quite obviously the contract value which is in dispute.

Well ..I’m sure they know who is off contract come 2027 … then that player needs to agree to join the club …I dont have the list but I’m sure they do …

I’ve stated numerous times that I would be content if he signed with us for 800k and happy if he signs with us for any less, but not happy if he signs with us for anything above 800k.
I don’t think Bula will re-sign with us for 800k or less, but if does it is good news.

So why won’t the WT be able to sign him at $800k? You think other clubs will offer more ?
