Everyone who is optimistic and confident Wests Tigers will make the top 8 in 2026, make yourselves known and we will check back in 9 months time.
For those who honestly believe that will happen, I applaud you and sincerely hope you are correct.
My issue is we have plenty of prominent supporters on this forum who deep down know we are in big trouble with an over rated playing roster, but prefer to sit on the fence and criticise others who are stating their opinion.

We are certainties for the eight next year, barring a massive injury toll. KPP, as much as I doubted him, after watching the Ashes I think he will be a big improvement and give us two good edges. You've got to remember, our best forwards are babies only going to get better. Ethan Roberts is a smokey at 13 who could be massive. I'm still hearing Toby Crosby from the Warriors is a possibility.
If we can get consistency in the halves, our backline of May, Maka, T'oa, Bula, Tito, Skelton, combined with Luai, Latu and AD, I'm confident we'll have enough points in us.
We've got a bit of depth. If that's tested, might be in trouble.
So yeah, I'm putting my hand up. Top eight for sure.

I like it, some good reasoning and prepared to put your opinion on the line.
If you are proven correct there will be happy Wests Tigers supporters everywhere and I will be very happy to be proven wrong.
 
Jahream Bula is the greatest player to play this game. I am fortunate enough to have watched him play. Just like how old timers used to say that Dally Messenger and Graeme Langlands were entertaining, so too is Bula. In 20 years time there will be discussions about renaming the Provan-Summons Trophy to the Bula-Seyfarth Trophy. Until then, sit back and watch the future immortal go about his work.

I won't put my name to the 8. ...

But I will put my name to 10th or higher if Bula stays.

Storm, Canberra, Broncos, Sharks, Panthers will be in the top 8, guaranteed.

Canberra (loss of halfback), Roosters (should have a bad season, but won't*), Canterbury have made a stack of changes but will likely maintain top 8 form. ... I maybe see 1 of these teams slipping out of the 8.


We got 24 points or 12 wins. We need a minimum of 32 points or 16 wins. 4 more wins and we make the 8. It's doable but there is no way I see our team being at the level of those top 8 above.


You look down, I see the Eels perhaps rising, Manly tanking without DCE, Dolphins are a ? always. Below that only the Rabbits and Cowboys may change, everyone else sucks.


I see us returning to our traditional place and home on the roster. 9th!

*they are so overdue. Whatever they are doing on the coaching circuit is spot on.
