There’s no way Bula is staying after this whole mess that HBG created. I hope he walks so he doesn’t endure this crap anymore. None of our squad deserves the crap HBG brought.

For the record I hope Bula stays.

I agree with Tucker, he has an X factor and is a good player...

I also think the players don't care. I would almost expect them to be asking the medical professionals if HBG is allowed and if they can take it, then have an opinion on club board and governance.

The big problem is without 4 directors:
will Bula's contract be signed (hopefully yes).
If Bula walks, can we find and attract a talent at Fullback? (probably no for 2026)


The squad won't be effected by the HBG crap. Richo will 100% and expect him to be very occupied by it. Benji may have to take a side, but I hope he can just ride this through.

The only way the players will be effected is if Denis or Richo/Barry O'Farrell pressure them into making statements or going with one faction OR if contracts can't be signed (OR we loose Richo to the idiot from Manly)

Totally agree, the kid is a gun and our team looks a lot better each time he plays. He is young and getting better each year. These directors and powerbrokers need to wake the f!!! up because if this kid walks it should be the culmination of being the beginning of the end for all these weak directors that have caused all this drama.

I used to really think and nearly hate all those that haven't believed in the club, people like Ivan Cleary, Madge, Isaac Moses, Gavin Orr, Braith Anasta and even Lee Hagepentalis to name a few, they all are big names in our game and there would be a heap of rubbish that we don't see as fans but those power brokers do and we have these clowns in charge of the club we love unknowingly out smart themselves and now exposed the circus they have created. Now all of a sudden a secret whistle-blower exposes Shane Richardson at the precise time all the sh!t hits the fan, how bloody convenient. Its an absolute sh!t show and has the potential to derail us for years to come.

WE ALL NEED TO SHOW UP AND THIS UPCOMING RALLY, THEY NEED TO BLOODY GO!

I would say given Bula close/a done deal according to @kade7. Moses will squeeze us for more cash to punt the price. If Bula definitely wants to stay they just simply add a clause about Benji being the coach. If Benji gets the arse then I think we are well & truly f***ed.

I don’t claim to know how Benji is feeling, but I would assume he’s angry.

As a player coach he’d be counselling his players to take a wait and see approach on major contract decisions. He wouldn’t be able to convince them to re-sign if he tried at the moment.

So the Bula & Luai contracts will be a major distraction until they’re done. We know how that goes down. They’ll be the first cards to fall in a massive collapse similar to when Teddy left.

Get to the rally if you love the Wests Tigers. None of us deserve this same crap all over again.

mellincamp is already at wests tigers so who is to say he doesn't get the job and do what hbg want ?
personally I think mellincamp would be a better pick than mestrov although I have heard good things re mestrov in greyhound circles, not that it means he is a good ceo of a rugby league team

I don't think Mestrov is lined up already. He is just one of the names put forth.

I would suggest someone has reached out to see if he is interested as you would think HBG has a long term plan in place for governance prior to starting this shit show, but I may be giving them to much credit.
