Unless the Bullldogs sign 5 of our current players, they will have an inferior team to us over the next 3-4 years, so why would any player in their right mind leave Wests Tigers for them, particularly if the money is the same or less ?

No he is not free until our option expires in June, his player option expires in May. So Benji's comment that we have plenty of time is related to the June date. If we take up the option in June, than he can only talk to them when free agency opens on Nov1 for players with a season left on their contracts.
