Well there was a rumor on Facebook this morning that we're signing him, so who knows. The week or two after round 13 is going to be interesting.
If it happens - not sure how I feel about it. When people talk about potential he has got it in bucket loads, but just dont think he wants it bad enough. Attitude is as important to succeeding as talent is, in my opinion. Not convinced Cleary and Gould got the best out him, not sure for the money he commands that we will reap the reward either.If it all comes off - hope he proves me totally wrong.

Well if we did sign him for next season it would be for bottom dollar. Coming off an ACL, no guarantee of fitness which was already questionable and he's under contract with the Panthers. Could settle for a punt on him at 150k if they are that desperate to get rid of him. If we got rid of Lawrence it would almost be a straight swap, we'd be paying a large chunk of Lawrence and Panthers paying a large chunk of Idris.

A representative centre who can destroy opposing defensive lines and usually destroys ours..
He would also give Moses and Brooks a target on that right hand side.
Would be a great centre pairing, the speed and allusiveness of Simona to compliment the size and power of Idris. I like.

Worth the risk. Guy is hugely talented and also extemely marketable. I get the feeling we would need to offload Lawrence in order for it to happen.

i hope idris does come to the tigers. i like him and think the upside is well worth any risks. a change (another one!) could do him some good. maybe the panthers players are all serious and he doesnt get along with them as well as he could?
