James Gavet

Just a really big fan who's followed him since his inception into league back in 2007.

Most of his 'fans' think that with all his physical attributes and abilities he'll be a superstar at second row - he just completely dominates whoever he comes up against in that position. Funny thing is he actually loves the real tough stuff in the middle. To him being a prop is the hardest position on the paddock - no rest other than being on the bench…just 110% all the time - and he loves that. Go figure!

He's got to make first grade yet. He hasn't even been guaranteed a PL spot. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

yes absolutely correct - helpful to know though that he was the next-cab-off-the-rank as far as a bench spot for FG whilst James Graham serves out his suspension. That's how highly valued he is/was by Des.

Here's the thing - he was in NZ for the offseason (post-GF) and went out with some mates. A group approached them and a fight ensued. James got caught up in the crossfire so to speak and injured a bone in his hand. Doggies have a zero tolerance to this and on the back of the James Graham / Slater incident in the GF AND the Mad Monday saga James was released.

Well tell me this than if the dogs have a zero tolerance on there players getting involved in off season fights tell me this how come barba is still at the club after his fight on MACKAY not long ago with a FOG QLDER hmmmmmmm please explain

Can't even speculate on Barba so you're asking the wrong person for an explanation. Gavet's situation was exactly that and that I do know.

Mafia, you know how it rolls. Kevvy McGuiness was rightly suspended for testing positive but I'm sure others of a higher profile have escaped censure. Same thing re: Barba

Here we go again. What is it about Blair that some people cannot stand?

"he's done nothing yet", refering to Blair. He played first grade and won a premiership at the Storm. Has played every game in first grade at the Weststigers ( and rightly so). He is an International and has played heaps of tests for New Zealand.

Wise up.

And don't go on about his form this year. It was not the best, but then again what member of the team did play to their best. Post Sheens, I believe not only Blair but the whole team will play much better.

I was pointing out players of first grade standard sometimes find the transition tough, let alone someone who isn't proven. And for the record, I still think Blair will fire. As for you Col, get your facts right before you judge on what was said. Use some of your own advise before criticizing my post.
