True or not, its hardly shocking news. He was always going to command that type of money. The onus is on us and what we can attract third party wise. If Bryden's, or someone else to offer something substantial.

I don't think this is a breaking news type report as there will be a number of Clubs offering the same thing.

His not going anywhere.

Doesn't even make sense given they have latrell. Ted seems to love the club. If we give him what he is worth, can't not see him staying.

I think the least loyal might be Mitch. He's my concern.

Ali 3 days before Sironen went to Manly..

"Curtis Sironen WONT be going to Manly"…

Tedesco will be in demand for sure the Club haS alteady stated he is a priority re-signing and negoitiations are under way ...Im confident we can keep him here and it can be done before the season starts as all this speculation will grow stronger the longer it drags out.."Breaking News" released on the various rumour sites is a good way for his manager to pump up his price tho...

This has been going around for a while now but I work with a guy who is a die hard Rooster Supporter and he firmly believes Teddy will be a Rooster , he may just be hoping but he seems pretty confident the deal is virtually done , I also think it will be very Hard for us to keep all of the 4 boys ( Teddy , Woods , Mitch , Brooks. ) I think the club should target 2 a t least( Woods , Teddy ) with Mitch as the next one and if that means Brooks goes it will be unfortunate but that's life .
Main concern for me is getting it done before we are to deep into the new season as we don't really need anything that can disrupt our season , we need a nice smooth off season leading into our charge to,the finals

I think Teddy and Moses will stay together, wherever that might be (hopefully at da tigers)

I am confident that Woods will stay

I am still not quite convinced about Brooks but that's ok

I think if we secure all 4 of them then they will deliver a premiership in the near future

He was offered that coin to go to Canberra.

Gone are the days of loyalty…its all about dollars and stature....if all our key players take up the dollar offers elsewhere, sobeit ,we start again as we have always done..producing and developing juniors for other clubs benefits..HOWEVER if our club is smarter than before,we can keep Teddy,Moses and Woods as well as the up and comers such as Liddle.....the only way that proves loyalty is back is if these guys are true to their word and want to stay together at the WTs to build a great culture and win a premiership ....its up to them if they want MORE $$$$ or a reputation as being loyal and honest during their careers...they can get more money off the WTs ,it depends on how much $$ value they place on themselves to stay....its a professional sport,of course they can demand whatever they want, its living with the decisions they make that could be the difference .......

These articles will be flowing thick and fast till he puts pen to paper when ever that may be. Most of them will be based on very little fact. Who knows what Teddy wants and is going to do, but one thing is for certain I will not lose any sleep over articles like these ones

He wants to stay at the WT's , but then again I heard the same thing at 1.00 am the morning he signed with the Raiders LOL

Thankfully Grant Mayer is out of the process so things should go far better this time round

We have virtually zero cap spent for 2018 so I don't see any reason we can't keep all 4\. As long as they get paid their money I'm sure they all want to stay together

We'll be dealing with these articles for at least another 3 months as i can't see us making any announcements till late February at the earliest.

Don't be surprised if these decisions move into the season proper GNR , it took the club 4 months after his re-signing after the Canberra debacle to find the TPA's to sure up the deal

Though many may disagree , Teddy's initial decision to go to Canberra could be a blessing in disguise

The club now knows that a token offer hoping that club loyalty will get it over the line won't suffice

If they don't get within the ballpark of the other offers he will leave

Will all come down to TPA's in the end for all 4 players , if we spend too much cap dollars to sign them we will have a weakened roster in other areas and have the scenario we currently have where we have weaknesses in key positions

You could probably replace "Sydney Roosters" with any other club in the comp & it wouldn't surprise me if it were true. Imagine what Canberra would've done with Teddy at the back this year? I'd say the sharks would still be waiting.

I read an (old) article on Teddy yesterday explaining how he is investing in property development to secure his future post footy. He's got plenty of wisdom beyond his years & probably a couple of solid mentors also. Add to this real humility & seemingly endless talent. Teddy is one we need to lock-up quickly. You build a club (not just a team) around blokes like him. From what Pascoe has said he also believes this. Hopefully we take him off the market ASAP.

I think you will find they are going to scrap TPA's…

That would bring a lot of clubs back to the field, hope you are right

It makes sense they would because it defeats the point of the salary cap. But wouldn't this move weaken the NRL product, since the best players will chase the $$$ in other sporting codes?
