James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Tedesco and Moses will re-sign before the start of the season.

Why would they do that ? They are not going to re-sign without knowing who the coach will be in 2018 and that will be determined by how we start the season.

Pascoe and JT are trying their best to keep these boys happy with the removal of Farah and McDonnell plus the return of Andrew Webster.

I'd like to see Noffa try his hand in the centres

Nofo had a great year on the wing and is continuing to improve. If we all of a sudden had a position switch it could come off or not. Considering the amount of unknowns at the club I would like to have a quality winger that you know is going to get the job done. I wouldn't be gambling and put him in the centres.

If it isn't broken, why fix it???

IMO…

Woodsy aint going anywhere as long as he is given a fair market contract $700-$800k per year for 3-4 years
Teddy should be given a contract of around $950 + Meriton TPA - 4 years.
Moses should be next of around $800 + TPA - 3-4 years
Brooks $700+TPA for 3 years....
Nofo $600k + TPA for 4 years

I'm glad you're not managing our salary cap if you're shelling $600K for a winger who can't kick…

Just out of interest what do you think nofa would be worth if we were to re-sign him? He'd surely be on around 300k atm

Nofoaluma's dirty hit up yardage would of been in the Top 4 wingers in the comp and that is highly regarded by most coaches in the modern game

He'd be looking at close to 450-500 k imo

Completely agree happy many people overlook he is often the first hit up taking the ball up after a kick making good yards.I wouldnt swap him for any other winger including the wife beater at parra.

I like him as a finisher and taking the dirty hit ups, but also have concerns over his defensive decision when playing further in.

gee I hope u blokes are not involved in handing out contracts, if nofa gets anything more than between $250k and $330k I would think we would go broke.

i would offer him between 350-400 anything less and he would go elsewhere and we would be stuck with makeshift wingers like Rankin

Sounds like you would spend 2 million of our cap on a luxury home for yourself

I imagine Teddy and his manager have commenced talks with interested parties. And may even be deep in negotiations with some. I would like to think they would give us a shot before signing with anyone.

Unless they have decided to leave us anyway.

The Sydney Roosters are on the verge of offering Wests Tigers player James Tedesco a multi million dollar deal from season 2018 and beyond.

Tedesco roosters and Moses dogs. That's what's doing the rounds.
Don't forget roosters signed Gordon for 1 season and latrell Mitchell has been told he is playing centre

If they pull the pin that's their call and life will go on and we will still have a side to support but I hope they make the call ASAP. I just don't want to read 50 rumour threads a week for the next six months

Don't know this Ali, but from what I've read here his not a reliable source.

But every wrong prediction gets him closer to right one :unamused:

A close mate of mine is in management at the Roosters. He's not directly involved with recruitment, however does get told a bit a fair bit about the ins and outs at the club. He was over at the nines last weekend and I messaged him after they won and told him they can win without Teddy and to tell his boys to keep their dirty hands off him cos he's ours. He laughed and told me not to worry it and he was 99% sure it was just rumours and there's nothing to it.

I'd be more concerned about the Dogs getting Teddy to be honest. Des has a habit of spending big and buying anyone he can to win a premiership.

My cousin who's a huge Tigers fan recently did work experience at the club. He described the "gym facilities" as nothing more than a old local swimming pool gym. He said it was honestly embarrassing and his school gym was better equipped.

We're supposed to be a professional sporting club, yet we offer 8 x exercise balls and sale items from Rebel Sport. There's probably a few chucked out weight benches that Sheens and Royce picked up from council clean-ups when they were re-arranging the gym. If we're going to entice some of these big names to come and also retain our own, this seriously needs to be a huge focus. Harry can build towers, so please old mate - build us a decent facility.
