Moses can play half and Milford usually plays left hand side of field, Moses right,

Can we stop talking about what side of the field Moses would play on with Broncs

Can we focus on a possible finals berth for 2017, and also 9's for those that are interested

Brisbane are trying to get Jayden Nikorima back to the club, so forget about Moses at this stage.

However, I do believe the Hunt $1.2M will drive up the prices of Teddy, Moses and Brooks.

At the least, there managers will be advising them to hold off longer!

Manager 1…

Isaac..the Orr's of the Wests Tigers...

I'm sure there offers will be Market Value..problem is as you say a players worth is what a Club is prepared to pay...Supply and Demand...woah flashback to Keynesian Economics 101...

Brooks was offed 700K was the report if true and it was not enough how much does he need

One would think under new cap

King Teddy 950K
Moses 900K but he stops the off field things the Tigers are upset about
Woods 900K
Brooks. 750K

If you're just going to tease stuff about Moses without going into further detail, don't bother.

If you want to know pm me and I will tell you but off field things do happen

A lot of hype for Moses considering he's played one good season in his career. Let's see how he goes this year before we start anointing him God. It's clear he's got talent but plenty of players have had years like him only to never repeat them. Now, if he'd kicked those match winning field goals against Melbourne and Titans, or shown up for our final game against Canberra, then I'd be a little more convinced. He's no Tedesco, not yet anyway.

Hope your right as I do not want this being a major distractions for the first half of the year. I have nothing to base it on but like you I get the feeling it will happen sooner than latter

Can we throw in Woods and the forgotten brother Nofoaluma for good measure..

IMO Nofoaluma is the most underrated winger (if not player,) in the entire competition.

His positioning wasn't great largely due to kev having to back up Moses because Mitch was left isolated. So kev had to support Moses leaving Nofoaluma having to cover way too much, therefore leaking tries.

But in attack and coming out from our end early in the set Nofoaluma was instrumental. He has a lot of power to him. At Leichhardt against Cowboys was one of the best performances I have EVER seen.

He had many great one-on-one tackles in 2016, and also had a couple good try-savers.

I think the tigers should be doing all they can to resign Nofoaluma before the season. His next contract will be a large sum of money, especially if the tigers make the 8.

The boost the club and supporters would get if Moses and Tedesco were to re-sign before the season starts would be indescribable. It would also put the club in a position of strength when negotiating with the others, because they would want to play with Moses and Tedesco.

As we have seen repeatedly and especially with Foran, contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on.
Tedesco, Moses, Woods etc could all sign long term deals with our club before the season starts, everyone would be wetting themselves with excitement…..and then one or all of them could renege and be playing for another NRL club in 2018 or even earlier. IMO contracts re-signing's aren't cause for too much mirth and merriment, they can be broken or backed out of at any stage with virtually no repercussions for the player/s involved. Remember how Parra fans were walking around with half-mongrels when Foran signed up "for life" only for the deal to fall on it's face after a few months.
Sure it would be a great temporary shot in the arm, publicity, hype and help sell a few memberships if Teddy, Moses and Woods sign up ASAP for long-term deals but the cold hard reality is that it really wouldn't mean jack.

IMO…

Woodsy aint going anywhere as long as he is given a fair market contract $700-$800k per year for 3-4 years
Teddy should be given a contract of around $950 + Meriton TPA - 4 years.
Moses should be next of around $800 + TPA - 3-4 years
Brooks $700+TPA for 3 years....
Nofo $600k + TPA for 4 years

I'm glad you're not managing our salary cap if you're shelling $600K for a winger who can't kick…

Just out of interest what do you think nofa would be worth if we were to re-sign him? He'd surely be on around 300k atm

Nofoaluma's dirty hit up yardage would of been in the Top 4 wingers in the comp and that is highly regarded by most coaches in the modern game

He'd be looking at close to 450-500 k imo

I think about $400K would be a decent offer. He was probably in the top 5 wingers at the back end of last season but I doubt there would be many out and out wingers on much more than $400K.
