Either he has already signed with another club or he is really putting a rocket up management's behind to get this house in order. Losing Tedeaco would be devastating. If only we had Robbie to convince him otherwise. We had a club legend who has given his all kicked out of this club. A guy who won us a premiership and gave us his all. Yet people will stick the knife in him. He is a saint compared to these divas. Instead of owning the clubs results they are quick to blame others and run away when it all goes hard. If they were all like robbie and had his loyalty then we would win another premiership. I wish him nothing but injuries and bad form if he leaves.

I have read some bad comments but "I wish him nothing but injuries and bad form if he leaves." is absolutely disgusting.

And the comment "A guy who won us a premiership and gave us his all." - since when did he play the Cowboys on his own.

Your comments if they weren't so serious would be laughable.

Farah gave us the best years of his career. Led from the front. Rejected bigger offers from bigger clubs. Was a key member of our premiership team. Yet JT and management knifed him in the back to save $250k. Signing JT instead of Anthony Griffin and getting rid of Farah could be the worst moves this club has done and cost us success for the next decade.

Oh tedesco i wish you luck in your new club against our club you deserted that invested so much time and money in you.

So on one hand you bash the club and the decisions they've made, claiming signing JT was the worst thing the club has ever done, yet you're giving it to Tedesco for potentially leaving and (pretty cowardly) wishing injury upon him. You're a walking contradiction lol.

Wasn't the reason for punting Taylor to get stability and get us playing finals footy…I would have thought that would get our best player to sign on the spot...

Looks like Senior management have so more due diligence to perform...

Mate honestly what more can they do? They've punted possible replacements, they've punted the coach, they've done everything they can to free up money to keep these guys.

If the coach part has upset them, then players should have aimed up more. The coach has been made accountable for non performance and the fact these guys didn't seem to want to put pen to paper under him. Are these guys afraid they are going to be accountable for performance ? If they don't think the bloke next to them is up to it…again it was the coach who recruited them and he has been made to pay for that.

There is no doubt in my mind, if these guys had different managers, we would have had at least 2 of them signed up by now. There is much more going on here than simple contract negotiations. There are power plays at work, and our club is being brought to it's knees because of it.

Im not suggesting our club is anything but a basket case, but i do believe they are doing their best now, and doing everything they can now to get on the right track and move forward. The weight around the clubs neck thats drowning it at the moment are four players, their manager some "whisperer" and his massage man.

I mean for God sake, what a bunch of pampered purse carrying pimps. Remember the game you play boys, it's called Rugby League, it's really not that complicated. In fact i would suggest the opposite to these four, their manager and the other 2 hanger on blokes. They all seemed to be playing MUCH better footy when they were under contract last year!!!

I didnt know i had magical powers and my wishes will became reality for people to get this upset.

Am I the only one here that finds it a little hypocritical that a players says that winning games is what's important to him….
Is he overlooking the fact that is exactly what him and his "mates" are well payed to do?

Because your last post makes no sense. Idk how you can blast the club for its incompetence then except Tedesco to stay.

You are correct. But just because our club is incompetent our best player shouldnt leave us stranded. Probably over reacted, just angry how all this is unfolding.

On a different note. There is either a serious disconnect between the club and the players or they are feeding us some serious spin. The players had no idea JT was getting sacked, have no idea if fhe club is talking to cleary or has signed him. Maybe if the club spoke to the players after last year, ivan cleary would have been here in the off season and this whole thing could have plaued out so differently.

comparing Tedesco to Lawrence ?? :bash A good one, but 1st of April is still a few hours away
Tedesco can only be compared to Marshall, they are both trillions light years ahead of Lawrence and other mare mortals :sign:

We MAY (I emphasise may) be outbidded for Tedesco and Woods, but who in their right mind will attempt to outbid us for our halves when there are halves like Foran and SJ off contract. Whoever does, advise them to seek medical assistance immediately.

I expect Teddy to leave us and Rooster would be a good fit.

Michael Gordon at the end of his career and Mitchell seems to make a good centre.

Uncle Nick has plenty of third party funds.

I expect us to keep Woods and Moses. Brooks is park football standard

I think all 4 will re-sign with us at massive overs. That's how we roll at Wests Tigers .

Can't pretend I'd be ok with losing teddy, but if it happens it happens.

A few months ago I would have said the same about Moses and woods, although I'm increasingly bitter we could have had TMM for less and gotten much better value.

I'm happy we don't have another bunch of potential players coming through, we are going to have to go to the open market if these guys leave and I think that will be for the best.

We have never had success with locals only. Take out Prince, Whats, Richards, Payten, even Elford (was better than our current centres) and we would have no premiership.

I think the way Farah was treated is coming home to roost now.

Several on here thought Farah was the cancer and it would be all roses in 2017 now he is gone.

Place is falling apart instead. Players know they don't have to be loyal. It's a 2 way street.

I agree with you to a certain extent the way farah was disposed of i think is in their minds especially Tedesco as it was he who talked him into coming back to the club. However i still feel that if the club could show him we will be competitive next year he could stay.I am really trying to be optimistic here.

Going by his interview he is gone, but it will not be the Dogs, he wants to play finals so I say he is off to the Chooks. I also have had a few people in the last day from Bondi tell me it's all signed sealed and delivered, but they could be stirring the pot but they are well connected with the club

Time for these players to stand up for more than half a game. Getting tired of the 'let our footy do the talking ' spiel. When will they walk the talk. The manager wants to be careful if he's playing hardball, he might get told to pack up his toys and go.

I honestly believe if JT had been punted during the off season as well as Robbie none of this drama would be unfolding.A transition to Cleary during the off season and the statement to strengthen our club for 2018 by cutting the deadwood should have been enough for Woods/Tedesco to stay. This would have probably meant an ordinary 2017 but with what we have we were always going to be doing it tough this year.
