Really? Perhaps you need to get a new perspective on life. It's just football and it's honestly not worth all this bitterness.

I have the complete opposite perspective. Football is much more important than life and bitterness and anger makes life worth living.

That's really sad.

It is sad that there are supporters like you who have no passion for your club. Me I'm quite content to hate those who deserve hating.

Well guys it is good to see you having a very passionate discussion about football and players,in my opinion and that is if you don't mind my input,I think that hate is a very strong word in the case of Tedesco moving on from our team,I dislike him for his attitude during the negotiations and the way he has been playing since the announcement, going to a team that I don't have the time to even dislike or bother talking about makes me angry from within…very similar to Moses last night when interviewed by Fittler I think it was after the game,I'm really happy here and the boys are great,it's like starting at a new school, something along those lines he said..to me,he was given everything he wanted at our club but wanted more,we lost other players who in my opinion deserved a chance with us but were moved on to satisfy Moses,he chose to spit the dummy like a spoiled child and that is why I dislike him and his attitude,he is a person that I wouldn't associate with if I were in the circle of players he was in..I dislike both the players attitude as Iam just as passionate about our team and club as you guys are....but I don't hate the players for their moving to other clubs, that is more personal and I don't know them personally, however I think they both have great skills and could become great players,it's their attitude while moving towards being great players that I DISLIKE..

I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to Weststigers players, love them, defend them, cheer them and support them but if they dare to leave the fold to play elsewhere all my positive passion turns to very dark negativity towards the traitors. Rather childish, but Tedesco,Woods and especially Moses are now public enemy no1

I consider this attitude extremely mature.

Here, here…..... x3 amplified

It may be a childish attitude to some but I live by "you are either with us or against us"

I think with woods Ted and Moses hatred is fuelled by how they led the club on. How they are influenced by their management. Any player who is honest and gets a better deal good on them.

There's a huge difference between having passion and having hate and please don't tell me I have no passion for my club. I have followed first Wests and now Wests Tigers for over 50 years, through thick and thin, and I don't have to hate anyone to be a passionate supporter. If you feel the need to equate hate with passion, then that's your problem. Have a great life.

One thing we can be assured of is that Cleary will bring a new spirit to the team. We can cheer on a new roster of players where the cash is more evenly spread among the playing group.

There is a new generation emerging with the four selections in the NSWCCC team from Holy Cross College, a fullback, five eight, half and hooker. It is an exciting time for the club.

Honestly I think you are getting too preachy.

Probably nobody on here really HATES a footballer. No one would wish them harm, do harm, attack them in the street etc. Nobody with a right mind would really do that.

But there is a difference between the on-field entertainment and real life. Most people realise that. Some people apply this "hate" or whatever word you want to label it, they apply it to the on-field drama, the competition. It has nothing to do with real life. Don't make the mistake of thinking that people are sitting in a dark room, listening to death metal and carving the player's name into a death effigy.

There is? Or is this statement hypothetical and looking to future?

I am excited about the future and the selection of Ben Stevanovic (fullback), Curtis WIlson (five eight/utility), Max Burey (half) and Bennett Wheelhouse (hooker) is a great achievement for the club. The three we lost all emerged from our juniors.

Thanks. I will have a great life. I'm doing well. You have a great life as well. Just maybe though don't think that you are better than people or it's sad to hate a traitor who leaves the Tigers. If I want to hate someone I will. It doesn't make me sad. To me it's a mature good positive attitude.

Honestly I think the guy is just a little immature. He can't differentiate footy from real life.

I find it hard to carve my effigy in the dark. Lights on, please.

If you don't want to hate anyone that's your prerogative, but it doesn't make you any more of a supporter than someone who does. For a lot of supporters that's the game. Read social media for a day, hate of opposition players and teams is as common as the sun rising in the morning. People are more than justified about towards their feelings for these guys.

Woods - Club captain. Never once in the last 12 months backed the club or talked about wanting to stay. It was obvious last year what his intentions were if you were looking hard enough. Says all he wanted to do was play footy, yet in the same breath spoke about how disappointed he was that the club never consulted with him. Says he wants to go to a stable club, yet is going to one whose CEO was just forced out and who look like having big cap problems. Stable club huh?

Moses - Strung the club along for as long as possible in 2016 and took up his option at last available minute. Had an offer from our club on the table for next year for months. Cleary is appointed and decides he's not a priority, then he not only immediately signs with Parra but demands an immediate release and has the hide to say he always wanted to stay. Really? Oh, then he plays the mental health card. Oh, and also has his uncle labeling him a victim on national tv every week.

Tedesco - Stated for months that he wanted to stay and encouraged his mates to take a pay cut so they could all stay together. Lip service because when it was time to put his money where his mouth was, he bailed. Then is still talking about why he chose to leave, weeks after the fact.

All three are attention seekers and glory hunters who chewed up this club and its supporters and spat them out. If you don't hate them for that, that's your choice, but don't judge others that do.

Yeah well I hope you're right, but of course you can only speak for yourself. I'm far from being a preachy sort believe me and look I'm only new to this forum, but I guess as an outsider looking in, I've been quite taken aback by the amount of vitriol directed towards our players in many of the posts on here. Real or imagined, it doesn't make for a very pleasant experience when you're just trying to have a browse for info on the forum.

I realise a lot of negative stuff has taken place recently with regards to Moses, Tedesco & Woods and I'm as disappointed as the next person about losing them, but geez it happens and has been happening in sport forever - it's not a big deal! Thankfully Moses has now gone, but the others are still here and and are still part of the team. I will continue to cheer for them because I just can't see the point in 'death riding' players that are still playing for the team that I support.

Anyway each to their own, I guess I'll have to try and avoid clicking on the threads that contain all the vitriolic comments about these guys in future.

I never said I was any more of a supporter because I don't hate, I was just responding to the poster who told me I had no passion for my club because I didn't hate!

It gives my life real meaning. Mum keeps telling me to keep the noise down in the basement but stuff her.

I Dont think its really fair to expect everyone to feel and react the same to how a sports team performs. I know when I was younger I rode the highs and lows alot more than I do now. There is no right or wrong way because emotions play a big part.

I took 2011 final loss to the warriors harder than I have taken all the rubbish this year. I recommend getting a boxing bag, it helped me.
