James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

I'm in two minds about tonights game.
Really like to see Parra get another flogging and Moses letting in tries and take wrong options … but I have a yearly bet with a Souffs mate on who finishes higher on the table.

Bugger it - go Souffs!

I was just playing music with the volume on the TV down, not really paying attention, then i turned and saw Woods being interviewed by Hooper with the smuggest looking smile imaginable on Hooper's face. Pathetc.

Lots of people will say that is self-serving commentary, a retrospective spin on the decision making process to make it more publicly appealing, especially in light of the public backlash.

Personally Turdesco can go to hell, I don't care if he plays another game for the Tigers this year, he is dead to me. Less dead than Mitcheel who I am actively deathriding every week, but dead enough.

Didn't even feel sorry for him when he cross 4 times last week but couldn't cop a try.

Really? Perhaps you need to get a new perspective on life. It's just football and it's honestly not worth all this bitterness.

I'm with you. I hate people like that. He lies. He has no integrity. Personally I wish him the worst and I don't think he should be playing for this club again.

x2\. At the members function in Brisbane last week I deliberately avoided Woods and Turdesco (although my son wanted a photo with him so I obliged) and made sure I spoke to players that wanted to be with the club.

Blokes like MWZ who realised they had talent and wanted to prove themselves before the chance went by and despite offers elsewhere wanted to come to the club. Chee-Kam was the same who loved the club and stayed despite having offers elsewhere to leave. Aloiai (who I spoke highly about in other threads) who wants to give it his best as he is 100% focused on being a professional footy player.

These are the guys that will make the club great (although we obviously need talent around them). I asked them all if the reputation of the club made them think twice and none were put off and like Clearly, felt the reality was different to what is reported.

As for Mitcheel, I was deathriding him so much last week it hurt (when Vossy said that the game was set up for a Mitcheel field goal to win it I was almost sick at the thought of the headlines), and I will be doing the same again tonight…..

X3
Was so peeved listening to tedesco talking how good it is being training with mitchy and cordy at camp nsw
Never ever thought i would say this but
'On your bike teddy and you can PO now to your beloved roorters'

If u watched CH9 sports tonight you'd be spewing .. another Tedesco interview about his struggles this year and how is is a victim of the issues around the contract saga… then goes on to say how much he is looking forward to being with his Chook mates next year.... another dump on the WT..far out I've never seen such ungrateful players...

I have the complete opposite perspective. Football is much more important than life and bitterness and anger makes life worth living.

I won't watch it but it's clear the sort of person this guy is.

I saw Woods being interviewed by Hooper tonight with the smuggest look you've ever seen on Hooper's face. This guy is supposed to be a supporter isn't he?

That's really sad.

Tedesco reminds me a lot of Wade McKinnon when he had those great years at the warriors and I think he will have some great years but a lot of injury years Tedesco has only played about 62 percent of all games he could have played since round 1 2012 four year contract very risky sad he's leaving but also could be a blessing

But very weak mentality

Wouldn't be surprised if he was making a last ditch effort before June 30 to get a release to the Roosters this year. Sounds unlikely, but i wouldn't put anything past these parasites anymore.

C'mon please don't presume to psychoanalyse me. I actually switch off from football very well, I take losses fairly well compared to many people I know, I try to be constructive about how the team is going, I'm often accused of being overly optimistic in this forum.

But when I turn footy on, I get into it properly. It is what makes following football so fun, to ride with the drama. I like disliking specific players, it's not the same if you don't have a few players or teams to hate.

So Turdesco, when I hear his spin, it irritates me from a Tigers point of view, and when I watch him in our jersey I feel really hollow about it, it's hard to cheer for him, which for me is weird, I cheer with gusto.

And then my kids come in the room and I think about something else.

But thanks anyhow for looking out for my mental welfare.

It is sad that there are supporters like you who have no passion for your club. Me I'm quite content to hate those who deserve hating.
