James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Anyone trying to find reasons to convince themselves Tedesco won't be a massive loss is off their rocker.
The bloke is a freak.

He's a brilliant player. He's disinterested in playing for us though.

Reading the Tedesco thread on the chooks forum makes me want to puke. They already had a superstar fullback in the making, it's so unfair.

So true, but so typical of the roosters

If only he would have played like that for the Tigers. He didn't so it's not that great a loss. Better off with blokes who want to play for the club.

Sour grapes. If all our players put in the same effort as Teddy, we'd be playing finals footy every year.

Not sure, as we would have a bunch of blokes that run sideways and find it difficult to pass the ball.

It is unfair, they are the last team that needed a player like Tedesco since they have always had an abundance of superstar players, but that's rugby league today. The strong clubs get stronger and the weak clubs get weaker, much in keeping with the rest of society.

Well… tedesco does run sideways sometimes but he creates oppurtunities and he doesnt pass the ball much because theres no support. I rather have tedesco hogging the ball and creating something than any of the others running and scraping up nothing.

Thats always been an issue for us, especially in recent years. A few players giving it 100% whilst others happy to coast.

Teddy was really good and so was Woods
Not everyone put in as much as they did bar a couple of others

we will miss this guy next year. no point holding a grudge now, as long as he puts in like he did today. just enjoy what we have at the moment.

We all know he's a loss

But we all know that the roosters are a club that will spit him out as quick as they snapped him up - should someone better pop up, or should he get injured….

We offered him loyalty, in essence a lifetime contract... he's a st Gregs boy from the wests side.

But just because he's good doesn't mean we can't pick him apart.. stuff him... I'm bitter, so what. I hope he drops the ball 2000 times next year, misses tackles .. and so on... he's human... he already tried to leave once... no time for him...
