OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

A position that low will be on the coaching staff and will cost them.
Our roster is good enough to compete with the periphery of the 8.
If they gel quickly and stay healthy, they might even sneak in.
Probably predicting low because of all the spoons T if we have another bad season after all the good things that happened over the off season it will be like a bomb went off in here mate devastation praying we are fighting for a finals spot that should keep everyone happy.

Co-captain Jarome Luai has sent an injury scare through the Wests Tigers camp after the star playmaker had to have emergency scans on a leg injury.

It’s understood Luai suffered the setback late last week and had scans over the weekend to assess the extent of the injury.

The Tigers travelled north of the border last week for a gruelling three-day army camp run by former policy and army personnel, where players were pushed to their physical and mental limits.

Coach Benji Marshall has given Luai the week off training in a bid to ensure the four-time premiership winner will be available for the Tigers’ first trial game against Canterbury on February 16 at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

The trial match is shaping as the first time Tigers fans will get a glimpse of Luai’s halves combination alongside talented youngster Lachlan Galvin.

The likes of Latu Fainu are in the running to replace Luai if the former Penrith star is not given the green light to take the field.

It’s understood medical staff are confident Luai will be available for round one against Newcastle on March 7.

Thanks for posting! Headline makes you think he is nearly gone for the season. "Emergency" scans is a very loose use of the word for something that happened last week and then scanned over the weekend.
