OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

You're absolutely right Merlot - It's drivel, but at least we get higher quality drivel these days. Beats reading that Luke Brooks is ready to step up and be the main man for the 7th off season in a row. The prediction noose is real rope now instead of plastic. I take that as a positive.
Is it though? I don’t think Brooks was earning 1.2 million at any stage. Not saying he’s going to fail this year, but expectations for Luai should br higher than they ever were for Brooks on paycheck alone.

At least it only took a year for Luai to wake up and realise he's a 5/8 and not an organising 7 but the elephant in the room is still the paycheck.

As for poor old Brooksy he always said that he was a running half and no one listened, the stupid fascination to transform him for a decade, wonder if they switched early and found an actual 7 how good he could have been for us playing 5/8.

I was always a defender of Brooks, but he was never going to be elite unless he learned to play slow. He does everything at full speed.

How happy we all are that the team many hate, obliged and took our most useless player from us!😛

That's what I meant by the rope being real instead of made of plastic. He could definitely fail, but at least he knows what he's talking about and has done it before.

btw Brooks was on 900k for most of his contract and got up to 1.1mil by the end. (according to some reports).
