He is not worth $1.2 million.

He’s leaving so who cares. PNG’s problem. We are barely fielding a competitive team right now that’s the issue. He is not worth $1.2 million.
Latu FainuJarome has never, nor will he ever, be worth $1.2m playing 6. The idea was that he would come across and move to 7, which was the position he played coming up through the ranks. He had showed glimpses at the panthers when cleary was injured, however that is a side with Yeo in it, who would probably be in the top 10 halves in the comp if he were to play at 7 or 6. At the tigers we needed him to play in the position that would give us the best bang for our buck and that was 6. The only problem with that is in my view you can have a good 7 with a crappy 6, however you cant have a good 6 with a crappy 7, and that's where our house of cards collapses. When i say a good 7 I don't mean Andrew Johns i mean a 7 who does better than an average job steering the ship and getting the attack to the right parts of the field to service the 6. We don't see that from AD (not his style) and we have not really seen it from Madden. Case in point is sexton and burton, burton was selected to play origin based on his last couple of seasons and would chime in with multiple line breaks and trys...now with a crap 7 he is playing like a busted backside. Unless Jerome suddenly becomes a 7 or we get a gun 7 that can organize the attack and set up the 6, than the best we can hope for is what we saw against the raiders where AD and Luai played that hybrid 6 and 7 depending which side the attack was.
I wish I could down-vote this...Completely disagree bad timing sure but the club & his people handled it reasonably well. Look at the team we’re rolling out and that’ll say a lot about why there’s a difference in performance.
I understand that money is important, but what about integrity and standing by your word? In the end, you can’t take money to the grave, but your reputation will be etched on your epitaph and in people’s memories.
The only people who care are a section of the Tigers supporter base. No one else cares or will judge him in a year or two, let alone the life time you seem to be implying. Look, if he was playing the house down, there would be a bigger outcry. But he’s been a borderline failure on the field for us. I can’t think of many games I’ve come away thinking “Luai is an absolute competitor”, yet I say that about Api almost every week. Who cares if he’s not sticking to his word. He’s doing the club a favour.I understand that money is important, but what about integrity and standing by your word? Unfortunately for me, I’ve lost respect for Jarome.

To some extent, that's true, because he has helped change our culture. However, I would argue that it was Benji not Jarome who has done that. I would even go so far as to say that Api and Twal have both been ‘captain courageous’ so far this year. The only people who care are a section of the Tigers supporter base. Tell that to CEos when they tap players who they no longer want to see our their contract to make room for other ones.I understand that money is important, but what about integrity and standing by your word? If that’s him injured he must look like Latrell (without being a fat ass) when fully fitGee, if Taylan May is playing with an injury you wouldn't know it . He was outstanding for the Tiges yesterday and Physical.
I don't care about the Melbourne Storm, I care about the Wests Tigers. You need to realise most of them say what you wanna hear
The game.is riddled with BS.
Just look at that purple mob down south
Youre ignoring my point.I don't care about the Melbourne Storm, I care about the Wests Tigers.
You cant take money to the grave, but you can feed your 4 children with it. I dont think any different of him. He came to the tigers for money, its only fitting he also leaves for money. Club is in a better place than when he got here. It business. Its life. Move on and enjoy him while we have him. I think his best is yet to come.I understand that money is important, but what about integrity and standing by your word? What matters most now is that he gives the rest of his 18 months remaining at WTs his 110% commitment and not just go thru the motions like he recent weeksHe’s leaving so who cares. PNG’s problem. We are barely fielding a competitive team right now that’s the issue.
