Looks like he pockets 300k to terminate the contract, he could sign somewhere for 1 year at 1.2m and be ahead, or for 600k and be behind...sounds like its somewhat of a mutual agreement for him to move on. Assuming nrl 360 are correct....big assumption.

Wow, Nikorima has been great this year. But Latu has to get first crack at 7.
Nikorima would be coming to play 14 and only starting to cover injuries.
Dolphins would be mad to get rid of him instead of George Williams.

Yeah I think an experienced half is a good shout. At least he can break the line too.
We saw this year, everyone will get game time when injuries hit, so your depth needs to be first grade standard.
Hooker and backrow need some attention still.
Well we are holding out for a hero

Keep Doueihi at 7. Latu and Andrews duke it out for the 6 in the pre season and the best performer gets first shot. Someone will be injured at some point, so they'll be playing eventually.

Nikorima is so underrated imo, I wouldn’t start him but he’s been super classy as a 2nd fiddle to katoa and as a backup he can create a try, if he signed if honestly be very happy

Rumours around is Parra is very interested, makes sense as he combines well with Moses, they do those 1 year deals (pezet) and they are desperate for signings, and at 800/900k they would probs do it
If we get 900k back out of Luai’s money then for me this will be the best negotiation of a player exit in Tigers history.
Adam Doueihi is an experienced running half with a strong long kicking game. We then have an upcoming running half in Javon. That is balance. Keeping Luai doesn’t make us more balanced - we have ball running halves.
The ball playing half remains the question. We have a solid back up in Madden. Everyone of us wants Latu to show he is the answer and then show it over time.
Either way, we have dealt with a constraint (too much money in 5/8s) now we need to deal with lack of depth and figure out the ball playing half thing.

Im not sure the 300k deal works with the cap until someone else picks him up.
