SMH reporting Panthers have waived 10 day cooling off period
Nothing IMO stopping him from signing and announcing it..other than deciding which suitor he chooses
likely more to do with the contract being green lit by the NRL. there's been a fair bit of chatter about TPAs, I would assume that is the likely hold up.

As already mentioned, could be third party deals that are holding it up. Could be a range of things that don’t involve another club.

Whatever his value in salary terms to us though should be fixed. TPAs are the unofficial top ups that the club has little to do with. So they shouldn't slow down the official contract. Without knowing the details none of this makes much sense. The contract offer would have already been drafted, TPAs sounded out, confirmed and put in writing. Any contract offer should have been in place formally and ready to sign within 24 hours. They have had months to put it all together.
After it's signed then it gets lodged with NRL. Are Panthers actually waving the 10 days or just saying they are? There should be no delay on our side of things, once he's ready to sign we put the contract in front of him and he signs it and it's done.
So who or what is causing the delay??

OK I'll explain it for you. When you take a girl out for the first time, if you don't want to appear needy, don't call her for at least 10 days before asking her on a second date. That's the 10 day rule.
Is that like the dance rule? Y'know - if you ask a 100 girls for a dance one of them will say "Yes" eg JAC Trell Munster ... 96 ...Luai?

..the other option is he gets cold feet about leaving the Panthers very substantial offer and stay in his comfort zone

Penrith finished up last Wednesday. He took 3 days off at the end of their pre season big deal.
It's actually smart by him. He trained Saturday. Told the boys about the decision. Then instead of going back into training straight away awkwardly he gives the rest of the penrith boys some time to process it (2 weeks)

I realise there are TPAs in play that aren’t mentioned, so if the Luai camp are banking on those, then they want those contractual arrangements water tight. Apart from the TPAs I can’t see, in any of the reports what WT are offering which is any different to what the bulldogs can and will?
