At some point we will have front loaded everyone and have a squad playing for free.Yep, front load players and sack the guy with the clipboard who’s hamstrung by those very decisions.

Well we often look like a park footy team out there, maybe we’re there already. At some point we will have front loaded everyone and have a squad playing for free.
Yeah, I wanted to believe that too. But Penrith made a comment about not having to decide before preseason, which makes me think it's not on a timer yet.i have absolutely no mail on this
but i have a feeling that luai has signed with us and we are in day 3 or 4 of the 10 day clause
penrith looking to up their offer (imo means he has given them an answer)
You may be right…’family’ could equate to ‘family’s financial security.’ Thinking about it , I’m like Kamahl, I was definitely a YES to start with, then I became a slightly informed NO, Now I’m returning to a better informed YES! 😃I would guess he would say playing with long established mates or proving he can win outside the Penrith system are the two motivators.
WinningYou really want the dub on this one don't you?
Still at it I see.Well we often look like a park footy team out there, maybe we’re there already.
Hard lie… they never use their juniors.. always look to sign players because how desperate they are.always have to take these things with a grain of salt, but Ciraldo was on both BSB and SEN this morning and confirmed that the Dogs had not tabled a formal offer for Luai.
he said the Dogs are always in the market for quality players and they have the space to accommodate said players, but indicated the long term goal is to bring players thru the pathways and if they pull off big name signings that's great but they're also happy with what they're building.
I wouldn’t read too much into that. Maybe they don’t want to appear weak if Luai was to turn them down. Never take what a club says publicly as gospel. Bennett was/is a master at that. Would say till he was blue in the face that he had shown no interest in a player, only to announce his signing a week later. He’s even said he does it as to not interfere with the negotiations.always have to take these things with a grain of salt, but Ciraldo was on both BSB and SEN this morning and confirmed that the Dogs had not tabled a formal offer for Luai.

Don't believe a thing that comes out from his mouth, he has been coached on the media by the biggest BS artist of all time - Gusalways have to take these things with a grain of salt, but Ciraldo was on both BSB and SEN this morning and confirmed that the Dogs had not tabled a formal offer for Luai.

If only some of our clowns would do the same.I wouldn’t read too much into that. Maybe they don’t want to appear weak if Luai was to turn them down. Never take what a club says publicly as gospel. He said they didn't want to poach Panthers players. Does he not realise their stars are all from the panthers?always have to take these things with a grain of salt, but Ciraldo was on both BSB and SEN this morning and confirmed that the Dogs had not tabled a formal offer for Luai.

He’s only taken players Penrith seemed happy to let go.He said they didn't want to poach Panthers players. Does he not realise their stars are all from the panthers?
Such absurd spin
They were happy to lose Burton and Crichton? He’s only taken players Penrith seemed happy to let go.
Well they can’t keep them all. They were happy to lose Burton and Crichton?
Sounds like something we would say 😆always have to take these things with a grain of salt, but Ciraldo was on both BSB and SEN this morning and confirmed that the Dogs had not tabled a formal offer for Luai.

Didnt he also say when signed by the Dogs that he wouldnt raid Penrith for some 2 years? Then the Penrith based signings began for the Dogs almost straight away.He said they didn't want to poach Panthers players. Does he not realise their stars are all from the panthers?
Such absurd spin
This is an excerpt from Ciraldo's interview with SEN this morning:
The big question is can Luai make the switch from a running five-eighth to a chief organiser in the No.7 hot seat?
However, Ciraldo has known Luai for a long time and has no doubt he has what it takes to be a quality halfback in the NRL.
“Jarome can do anything he wants really,” Ciraldo said.
“He is a quality player who loves footy and he loves his teammates.
“That’s the challenge of someone like that if he is looking for that challenge.
“But I have seen Jarome since he was 17 years old and every challenge that has been thrown at him he has latched onto and gone after it and ultimately succeeded.
His winning ratio in every grade he has played is unbelievable, so yeah Jarome can do anything he wants if he puts his mind to it.”
Sounds pretty impressive to me getting that from a current head coach who has coached Jarome personally for a number of years. I know Gus also said once that Luai was rated a better talent than Cleary in juniors and Luai was the halfback in juniors with Cleary on the bench. I guess this is a good comparison to Fainu and the other promising players, they might be great now but who knows how their career will pan out. It is normally the hardest working players who succeed, not the most talented.
